Thank pup it's Friday!
Monty's been to the groomers and is ready for the weekend - when I'm sure he will promptly re-matt and re-tangle all de-matting and de-tangling that has taken place!
Have a lovely one whatever you are up to!
As the sun starts to set on another (frankly underwhelming) summer this year, I’ve gone with a sunset theme for today’s Teamwork Thursday at

Solid sterling silver whelk shell from Nairn beach.
King Power Mahanakhon - Thailands tallest building - planting the seed of an idea for some new earrings. 💡💡....
Spot the imposter is back!
Which newcomer is infiltrating the pod of whales - can you spot him ??

The soldering gods were shining down on me over the weekend but I think it might have had something to do with me offering them up one of my finger tips as a sacrifice which now has a cowrie like burn on it ....
Note to self ... when one quenches the very very very hot piece of silver one really needs to actually submerge it in the water. 🤣
Needless to say the youngest ticketyboo coo has now learnt lots of new sweary words as it was 🤬 sore!
Nighty night with a red sky tonight.
End of primary school for this not so little one. 🥁🥁🥁
How time flies 🥰
Blue whales! 🐳 not much else u can say about them really! 😂
This little pod are getting ready to start their journey off to oceans new.
Row row row your boat........
........ something a little different to kick of the week -a blade pendant (it's not an oar apparently!) that I made at the weekend for the rowing obsessed eldest little ticketyboo coo - needs a little refining and we are still debating whether it should hang vertically or horizontally but I'm rather pleased with it.
Back to the shells and puffins today though!
Limpets Isle of Colonsay style......
I'm loving these - the texture is lovely and deep and they are a bit chunkier too - quite often as the shells get bigger (and I guess older) the textures seem to smooth out - unlike us humans who generally find as we get older our own "textures" become more pronounced 😂
Available as a dangle, a stud and a necklace. The first batch will be landing at the very soon.
Another member of the new Colonsay Collection.
Trini from found this gorgeous piece of sea urchin shell on one of colonsays beautiful beaches. The sea has done such a spectacular job tumbling it into the most perfect shape hasn't it? It's lovely and tactile too - perfect for one who likes to fidget!
You'll find these and some other Colonsay inspired pieces in The Old Waiting Room Gallery very soon!
Teeny tiny oak leaves! I found the original leaf on a branch that had fallen to the ground on my dog walk last week and had intended to tackle some of the larger leaves as well for pendants and maybe dangle earrings too but the dog had other ideas and tackled the branch himself - I think he was trying to tell me that these walks are all about him - not an excuse for me to find teeny tiny things to make into silver!
So here we have them teeny tiny oak leaves in fine silver.
Happy Wednesday!
These two scrub up rather well!
A little pair of coo cufflinks pickled and polished before starting their journey to their new home!
If you fancy a pair you can find them over on
Happy Coosday!
Spot the imposter is back!
This time spot the sheep in cows clothing!
Happy coosday!
Keeping it simple today with a pretty little earring and pendant set.
The pendant can be personalised if you'd like on the reverse with an initial of your choosing! What would you choose your own initial, someone else's or maybe someone secret! 🤫 😉
....who's initial will you wear?
Teeny tiny froggies for your ears! Did you know..... that frogs can be found on every continent except for Antartica - where they would obviously be frozen froggies! 🥶 Each individual earring in my hand painted collection is exactly that - hand painted by me giving each little froggie in this case, or chick, or coo, or sheep or cat, or bear (the list is definitely getting longer) their own fun personality. 🐸
Available on the British Craft House
Wow three posts in three days! I'm spoiling you!!
Ivy - a pretty little leaf with an even prettier name. This one originates from the Hermitage of Braid which is one of Monty's favourite walks 🐾🐾
Now listed on alongside some ivy leaf earrings if matchy matchy is your thing!
What's on your to do list today - I've a few more things to list and a pair of special cufflinks to make a start on.
An Isle of Arran limpet shell, recreated in silver from a shell that was found on the shores of Blackwaterfoot Beach on Arrans stunning south west coast. Im thinking a perfect accessory for a beach wedding where would you wear it?
Now listed on the
Did you know the Easter Bunny isn't actually a bunny at all??
He (or she) is a hare! 🐰 originating in Germany the Osterhase as he's known was first mentioned as an "egg-bringer" way back in 1682. Deciding who was naughty and who was nice (sound familiar?) and for those that were good the hare would lay some eggs. I'm struggling a bit with the egg laying hare aspect to this - but my friend google told me so it must be true??
Handmade in silver these little fellas are the perfect Easter accessory - I was going to say alternative to a chocolate egg but who am I trying to kid!!
I've made two pairs and they are currently available only on the 🐰🐰

Happy St Patrick's day!!
☘️ ☘️☘️☘️☘️☘️☘️
A cheeky little treat after this mornings dog walk in the rain! ☕️
If you are visiting Edinburgh an should definitely be at the top of your list - molten chocolate, marshmallows, cream, a bit more chocolate and a few more marshmallows oh and a wafer too.
There's a new whelk on the block! - this one is a teeny bit bigger than the others and a bit chunkier around the waist but he's just as beautiful.
These are earmarked for a restock at the next week, I have made a mould though so shall definitely be making more.
The original shell was sourced from the shores of Nairns West Beach which is one of my own favourite beaches so I think they are extra special.
Sunset beach earrings have gone all di**le dangly!
What do you think? I'm generally not a dangle wearer but these might just persuade me
Yesterdays work in progress is now complete and the chunky cockle is heading North along with a bundle of other shiny things to the lovely Michelle
If you are planning a North Coast 500 trip be sure to pop in and say hello, Michelles shop is beautifully curated with the work of makers from across Scotland.
Spot the imposter! 🦊

A little something for the weekend….
A slightly different take on the sunset beach pendant, this time with a little sunshine setting in the west or is it a sun rising in the east….. think I might be getting my east and wests in a bit of a fankle!
