The Fringe is over I’m on holiday back home in the Highlands and just learnt I got an A for my dissertation! 🥳🥃 I now officially have a masters degree in Scottish History and after 3 and a half years of studying can finally call myself a historian! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 I’m a very chuffed wee laddie this evening! 😊Thank you to for having me back and giving me the opportunity to put on my show dram(a)s in an outstanding venue, thank you to everyone who came to see the show in August and thank you to everyone who came on a tour with Brahan and I, we’re now enjoying some well earned down time this week as well as a few drams 😊👍🏻🥃

Brilliant Mountebank audiences at the Fringe this week, and a distinct lack of unhinged folk 😊👍🏻 - with the exception of the one woman who complained the tour had ‘too much comedy’ and I didn’t provide enough spaces where she could lean on stuff! Thank you to everyone who joined the BP and I on a tour and let us be a part of your Fringe, especially Rachel and Graham who will have seen 173 shows by the end of the run and came on the tour and came to my Fringe show! 😊👍🏻

Lots of fun at the Fringe this week, brilliant audiences everyday has made this such a fantastic Fringe so far and a lack of completely unhinged folk this week definitely helped! Although I did scare off a couple from Berlin and one woman took exception to me reciting Robert Burns, aside from that an almost 100% ‘not insane’ rate this week, hasn’t happened in a while! 😊👍🏻🙌🏻

Yesterday I handed in my dissertation, the final piece of work as part of my Masters Degree in Scottish History I’ve been working towards for the last three and a half years. I decided to ‘mark’ the occasion by getting this amazing tattoo of Mary Queen of Scots. It’s been a long and at times painful journey, I definitely underestimated the amount of work involved in getting a Masters degree while simultaneously trying to run a business! 🙈 excited to have a wee rest after the Fringe and put my energy into something new, hopefully in a few weeks I’ll be able to officially call myself a Scottish Historian! 🤞🏻🥰😍
