Wrote a blog for ahead of the Rogues So Banished show on Nov 11th, in which I talk about my inspirations for the play.
Rogues, Shadows, and Blood: How Australia’s Dark History Inspired 'Rogues So Banished' by Paul Case I’ve always held a fascination with Australia. As a kid in the eighties, I was entranced by Tazmania spinning and snarling across my TV screen. A Tasmanian devil ? What the hell is that? It...

Rogues so banished | edhorrorfest New South Wales, 1790. The penal colony is on the brink of starvation. Three convicts escape with murderous intentions in hope of a reward. But as they become lost and dragged deeper into the forest, it's clear they are trapped in a nightmare of their own making… Told in the demotic slang of the e...

The Substance was fantastic. Subtle as a brick through a window but who cares. Sharp, horrific and OTT revitalisation of body horror with real commitment from all involved. Great to see prosthetics too! Look out for the movie references while watching. Another triumph for Coralie Fargeat after the excellent Revenge.
Thanks to for this gift for my 41st back in July. My first Beckett novel and thought it was weird, mad and extremely good.
Had a bit of necessary radio silence after Edinburgh Fringe madness, but I've been beavering away organising the next Rogues So Banished shows. Bringing the horror to Edinburgh Horror Festival, Brighton and London soon! Come join the nightmare.
Brilliant read this. My favourite Joel Lane so far. His weird dark style forced into detective noir is a perfect match.
The run may be over but the reviews keep coming in for Rogues So Banished's time at
Another ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - this time from Three Weeks

And that's the run over for Rogues So Banished!
I couldn't have hoped for a more positive response. I was hoping for it to be liked by a few fans of niche horror, but the last three shows were almost packed out. It got some great reviews and excellent audience feedback.
Thanks to everyone who came to see the whole grisly tale. If you haven't yet, do feel free to whack a review up at edfringe.com and share your thoughts on the show in yer socials.
And of course I cannot thank the enough for taking a punt on a weird horror show and being nothing less than 100% supportive. What a crew.
But it's not over til the axes stop swinging and the kangaroos stop acting weird. More Rogues So Banished dates will be announced, so stay tuned for the terror coming to a venue near you!
