Bays has been making waves in the scene for many years now as a DJ, promoter, record collector and vinyl enthusiast. He heads up the excellent Space Dust Transmissions imprint, as well as the Alien Communications record label and party series alongside DJ Rise where the duo take the stage to play together across some of the hottest spots in Europe 🛸☄️🪐

He’s also the man behind Pleasure Edinburgh, the Saturday night party series taking place weekly at one of our favourite local clubs Cabaret Voltaire 🕺🏻💃🏿

A two-track EP of sonic power, the lead track 'Tell Tail' is a hybrid record of filtered disco groove, with some Detroit electro sprinkled on top. It's rough, rugged, and spooky with space aged sounds. A tension builder made for dark sweaty dance floors 🚀

The second track 'Fighting Talk', is a relentless peak time affaiir filled with Techno energy and sinister vocal FX. The artwork perfectly reflects the mood in this one! 👊🏻

Weekend listening 🙌🏻

Hand-made are Edinburgh based DJs and record collectors who have recently launched their own party series 'Hand-Made with Love' at the world-renowned club, Sneaky Pete's. The duo also host a monthly show on forward-thinking radio station EHFM. Their sound spans multiple genres, and their selections from behind the decks have caught the attention of many within their local scene.

My latest EP ‘Bathe In The Fire’ is out today on CB90 Dance Recordings ⚡️

I wrote the first version of this track after going through a rough patch over lockdown. ‘Bathe In The Fire’ was a term I picked up on during this time, which basically means to relish the challenge and use adversity as a mechanism for growth 💪🏻

I’m really excited to finally release this track, and I hope it channels the same energy I used when making it, and inspires others to bathe in the fire as well ✨🔥
