On Tuesday, a group of golfers from the Scotch Whisky Industry took part in The Big Golf Race 2024 - the challenge is 100 holes in a single day to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK. Amongst the golfers were Glenfarclas team members Douglas and Duncan, who played through the adverse weather conditions to complete the challenge in 17 hours. A huge well done to everyone who took part.

What a week! The Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival is over for another year, and as things return to normal we wanted to take a moment to share our highlight.

Callum A Fraser, our production manager, was named International Ambassador at the Touch of Tartan opening dinner. While taking responsibility for all aspects of production, Callum also finds time to engage with whisky lovers both at home and abroad - anyone who has had the pleasure of meeting him certainly won’t forget it. He is an amazing ambassador for both Glenfarclas and Speyside and we are absolutely thrilled to see this recognised by our peers.

Introducing Glenfarclas 107!

To mark the 25th anniversary of the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival we have created this unique and very limited release of our iconic Glenfarclas 105, specially selected by our Chairman John Grant to mark the occasion. This limited edition cask strength whisky came out at 61.3% abv (the equivalent of 107° British proof) and so it will be known as Glenfarclas 107.

There are only 306 bottles available, aptly priced at £107. Due to the exclusive nature of this release, it will be limited to one bottle per person and a limited number will be available each day. Please note this bottle can only be purchased in person directly from our distillery Visitor Centre. It will be on sale from Thursday the 2nd of May at 10am.

Our limited edition 105 aged 16 years is now available to buy at our Visitor Centre. This special release is priced at £160 at the distillery and there are only 5,280 bottles available worldwide.

With Christmas just around the corner we wanted to update everyone with our festive opening times. Our Visitor Centre will be closed from Thursday 21st of December until Monday 8th of January.🎄As is our annual tradition the Visitor Centre will be open for one day between Christmas and New Year on the 28th of December from 11am until 3pm. To mark the 50th Anniversary of our Visitor Centre we are thrilled to announce the release of this 2014 limited edition single cask. Specially selected by our Visitor Centre team for its classic toffee flavour and warming winter spices which make it the perfect winter dram! We were delighted to discover that the number of the cask they chose was 1973 which is the year we officially opened our doors. This bottling can only be purchased in person at our Visitor Centre and is priced at £150.00 per bottle.🎄🎁

Today, we were honoured to welcome the Lord Lieutenant of Banffshire Andrew Simpson and his Deputy Lieutenant Patricia Lawson to the distillery where they presented us with the new flag of the historic county of Banffshire. It has been quite a week for us here at Glenfarclas. We have had the pleasure of being the official Scotch whisky supplier of the PGA Seniors Legends Tour in Aberdeen. From the celebrity pro-am to seeing our logo out on the course it has been an incredible week of🏌️‍♂️and 🥃

Thanks to everyone who came to say hello to us at the stand - we hope you all enjoyed your putt and dram. We would also like to say a huge thank you to everyone involved in co-ordinating and running the event for all their hard work. A special thanks goes to our own Glenfarclas team who went the extra mile both in the run up to and at the event itself to make the week a success.

We are excited to announce that Glenfarclas is the official Scotch Whisky supplier of the Aberdeen Staysure PGA Legends Tour Tournament.

To mark the occasion, we have bottled a special version of our 12 Year Old. This limited edition will be available exclusively from our tent in the Championship Village for £60. Our team will be there every day with a whisky inspired game of mini golf, so drop by to test your skills and have a dram.

As this year’s draws to a close, we are delighted to announce that our chairman, John Grant, was given the Lifetime Achievement award at the opening dinner on Wednesday in appreciation of his 50 years in the industry. Unfortunately he was unable to attend so our production manager, Callum Fraser, accepted it on his behalf. Today, he handed the award over to John who said he was “honoured and surprised” by the recognition.

We are excited to announce this year’s Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival Distillery Exclusive will be available to purchase at our Visitor Centre from 10am tomorrow. We have selected an exceptional 2002 first fill sherry butt at 54.3%. It is a limited release with only 636 bottles priced at £220. Please note this is only available to purchase in person at the distillery.

It’s here! We are delighted to welcome our new 35 Year Old to complete the Red Door range. The newest member of the family is currently making its way round the world. Along with the 30 Year Old and 40 Year Old, this will be a limited release so available globally in small quantities each year. The whisky is rich and decadent with flavours of toffee, chocolate and dried fruits - perfect for any Glenfarclas lover!

Seasons Greetings from Glenfarclas! We recently had our first real snow of the season, which happened to coincide with Christmas Jumper Day and our annual collection of gifts for and food for . Happy Holidays one and all!
