Alert!! New single cask whisky release!!
We are excited to announce the release of another single cask whisky in conjunction with our friends at The Single Cask Ltd.
This, the second bottle in our “Abbey Road” series is a beautiful 10yr old whisky from Linkwood distillery in Speyside. Finished in a Madeira wine barrel and bottled on 27/3/24 at 54.5% it’s like a dessert in a glass - a perfect dram for a hot summers day .
This is a very limited release with only 38 bottles available and priced at £89.
We are not posting out orders - they have to be collected from The Abbey. Please get in touch if you wish to reserve a bottle.

“The Single Cask Saucy Session”
Wednesday night (8th May) at 7.30pm the guys from independent bottlers The Single Cask will be here for their official re-launch and to showcase their first release from their new bottling division. Join us for the celebration where we’ll be serving freshly prepared mini burgers alongside The Single Cask's newly created whisky infused sauces and five single cask drams from their first collection - Linkwood 14yr, Mortlach 9yr, Port Charlotte 21yr, Bruichladdich 12yr and Whitlaw 9yr.
Tickets are £25 - this includes 5 drams, mini burgers and whisky infused sauces. Available to buy at www.abbeybar.co.uk now!

WHISKY TASTING 19/3 £25 TICKET We are big fans of Indie Bottlers here at The Abbey - that is why we have another cracking tasting lined up for you this month.
On Tuesday 19th March @ 7.30pm we will be welcoming Andrew from Ferg & Harris /Young Spirits.
Ferg & Harris tastings are always popular here - the most recent bottlings are all fantastic (and varied) so I have no doubt it should be another great evening.

On Tuesday 21st November @ 7.30pm we have a tasting treat at The Abbey. We will be showcasing 2 of Italys finest independent bottlers - Hidden Spirits and Wilson & Morgan.

Brand Ambassador Andrea Dionori will be pouring the following drams for us -
Hidden Spirits -
Ben Nevis 7yr (Distilled 2015)
Bruichladdich Lochindaal 11yr (Distilled 2009)
Dailuaine 13yr Jamaican Rum Cask Finish (Distilled 2007)

Wilson and Morgan -
A rare 21 year Glenlivet distilled in 1973
A 25yr Ben Nevis distilled in 1996 - both from their Barrel Selection range.
There will also be a couple of surprise drams revealed on the night.
