From experience, I know that the key to a smooth transition lies in the organisation. I help you with your pre-move preparation, moving day services and help setting up and settling in to your new home.

I can guide you through the process of finding a house to buy or rent, recommend reputable letting agents, or a property solicitor, advise how the ‘offers over’ system in Scotland works, and visit properties for you.

I know how stressful it is when you are moving your children between schools. It’s even harder when the area is new, and you have no previous knowledge of which school might be best for your child. Edinburgh has a fantastic diversity of Independent and state schools, but the choice can be overwhelming. My own children are at school in Edinburgh, as was I, so let me guide you through your options.

Why can I help?

As a military wife, I have been married to a soldier for eighteen years and in that time we have moved fourteen times. Each house has been a different size and shape, in different and unfamiliar locations, both in the UK and abroad. We have had to cope with the stress of moving at short notice, during times of bereavement and whilst pregnant....the list goes on!

It is because of the life we have led that I have the expertise to both assist and reassure others who are uprooting or moving on.
