El Levantamiento Jacobita de 1745 comenzó cuando Bonnie Prince Charlie levantó el estandarte en Glenfinnan. Setenta años más tarde, se erigió el Monumento de Glenfinnan de 18 metros, a orillas del lago, para conmemorar el evento histórico. El Viaducto de Glenfinnan, construido en 1898, ha destacado en el cine gracias a la saga de Harry Potter. A foggy night on the Balmoral Hotel and its iconic clock which towers over Waverly Station, and which has been running ahead of time since 1902 to help people in the city catch their train on time.

Isn't the Edinburgh Castle impressive? It is unquestionably Scotland's most famous and important castle, and I have been long time thinking of doing an artwork to represent its grandiosity. Well, so here it is, and I hope you like it. Trying out new creative ways to be able to express how a place makes me feel. More new artworks coming soon ✌

Calton Hill rises beyond the east end of Princess Street and carries a rather eccentric collection of buildings and monuments. The largest structure on the summit of Calton Hill, the National Monument was a rather over-ambitious attempt to replicate the Parthenon in Athens, and was intended to honour Scotland's dead in the Napoleonic Wars.

It is such an event to see the sunset from Calton Hill, and I was so jealous and at the same time so lucky to have witnessed how calm was this child looking to the amazing views. Have you ever been on top of Calton Hill on a beautiful sunset? I will do an artwork of the views another time, I promise.

🐴 A kelpie is a shape-changing aquatic spirit of Scottish legend. And how amazing these Kelpies look at night on the largest equine sculpture in the world! Lots of people have been asking me lately for prints of my photographs, so good news!
