On this International Women’s Day, we pay tribute to the hard work and dedication of the women who run and/or work in tea gardens around the world. These photos were taken in the Mogok garden in Myanmar where a hardy Women-run co-operative produces award winning tea (Gold Medal at the “Leafies” of the UK Tea Association). We thank you for producing such incredible semi-wild organic teas. The malty, earthy and tropical fruit notes of Myanmar Black Ruby have already made it a favourite of many of our regular customers.

Thank you to everyone that came along to our Tea and Whisky pairing event on Saturday in the Vaults and thank you to Sonia Raineri of for organising and thank you to Olaf Meier for presenting the 4 incredible single cask whiskies that we paired with our Jin Jun Mei, Wuyi Rock tea, Jasmine Blossom and Lapsang souchong.

We are completely focused on tea and all things tea.

We opened our third shop in 2018 in Clerk St. It is a lovely space and we have had a number of tea tastings, tea pairings and events with medical herbalists there.

We opened our second store in the autumn of 2016 in the east side of Edinburgh city centre amongst all the fabulous independent shops, cafes and restaurants, gift shops, hairdressers and delis on Broughton St.

This is our original team in our first store in Bruntsfield. The wonderful Hayeon, Isabelle and I and our good friends James and Charline.

Isabelle and I started Rosevear Tea 9 years ago now. It has been such a wonderful journey and we are very grateful to have known and worked with all the members of the Rosevear Tea team past and present.

Our Orange Pistachio Rooibos.

A kaleidoscopic of flavours erupt from this delicious caffeine free infusion. The scent is led by the orange rind and refreshing rooibos. The magic comes with the flavour – the pistachios and pink peppercorns, together with the almond and orange create a taste reminiscent of freshly baked orange biscuits.
