Some fun facts about Rugby 7s and Melrose RFC 👇

The first ever Rugby 7s match was played at Melrose RFC at the very same Greenyards stadium in 1883 as a fundraiser for the club. The Rugby Union 7s concept spread around Scotland in years to come and has since become a worldwide sport including inclusion in the Commonwealth Games and a Rugby 7s World Cup in which teams compete for the ‘Melrose Cup’ 🏆

The Melrose 7s has been occurring every year ever since 1883 and has continued to be an important event in the Scottish Borders calendar so needless to say, it’s a pleasure to be a part of it 🫡

It’s pizza week at so we’ve pulled out all the stops and done what we should have done a long time and got Salt & Chilli Pizza Crunch on the menu. Needless to say it’s going down a storm. Here for one weekend only so if you want it come down this evening or tomorrow.

Thai aubergine salad hitting the spot on this hot Sunday. Salt n pepper fried aubergine with Thai salad, cashews, zesty dressing, lime cured red onions, ftc vegan mayo and sweet chilli drizzle. Does the job.
