We had a fantastic morning today at the UNITED team building event. A fun mix of team building activities, problem solving, making new friendships, all with mindfulness, resilience, wellbeing in mind. Our ➕ Sports Therapy Fundamentals students returned this week for some anatomy activities this week, great work recreating a skeleton and placing the muscles in the correct locations 🦴💪🏼

This is our brand new Senior Phase course for school pupils in S3-S5 delivered by the Integrative Healthcare department. Covering all about the human body, what it is capable of, how to prevent and recover from injuries, and the professional manner in which Sports Therapy is delivered.

Our ➕ Sports Therapy Fundamentals course started last week. This is our brand new Senior Phase course for school pupils in S3-S5 delivered by the Integrative Healthcare department. Covering all about the human body, what it is capable of, how to prevent and recover from injuries, and the professional manner in which Sports Therapy is delivered.

This week the students were tasked with choosing a muscle and researching its action & attachments, great work 💪🏼🦵🏽📝

We’ve had a few enquiries about when our treatment clinics will be up and running again, and the answer is not quite yet… our students need some time to practice & perfect their new therapy skills first and we’ll advertise our availability on our pages a little later in the semester, so stay tuned!

In the meantime though, the Hairdressing UHI Moray students have opened their salon already, 12.30pm-7pm on Tuesdays 💇🏼‍♀️💇🏻 so give receptionist Rachel a call on 01343576432 or email [email protected] to book your hair appointment.

There are advanced entry routes into years 2 and 3 of our BSc (hons) Integrative Healthcare degree program available for those with prior learning & qualifications. More recently, members of Association of Reflexologists
