We’re looking forward to seeing lots of people at our stall at the Ely Cathedral Christmas Fair this week. We have some lovely items for sale, plus a chance to browse our online auction and enter a prize draw with a very exciting prize!

Voucher for a Wild Oak Workshops Christmas wreath making workshop at Ely Cathedral (Thursday, December 8th 2-4pm or 6.30-8.30pm) or Wild Oak Workshops HQ in East Winch, Norfolk (Saturday, December 10th 2-4pm). All seasonal ingredients, mulled wine, mince pies and warming refreshments provided. If neither of these dates and times fits in to your busy schedule Katie can make your wreath for you and bring it to Ely Cathedral for collection on Thursday, December 10th.

Today’s auction focus is on Windsor Castle. We have four tickets up for grabs. Visit includes State Apartments and St George’s Chapel (resting place of Queen Elizabeth II). Private tour of chapel organ loft can be arranged if buyer interested.

Signed copies of New York Times and USA Today best-selling author Liz Trenow’s two most recent historical novels, Searching for my Daughter and The Secrets of the Lake (in paperback). Liz Trenow’s work has been published all over the world, translated into 15 languages. She was born and brought up in East Anglia and her novels are inspired by people, places and historical events in the area.

The Ely Cathedral Girl Choristers are fundraising for a tour to Italy next year. As part of their efforts, they are running an online auction of promises with a Christmas countdown! If you are looking for a unique and exciting Christmas present or maybe a treat for yourself then look no further! Items available include a massage, a night away in a fancy hotel, tickets to Windsor Castle and a private guided tour of St Paul’s Cathedral. We also have some lovely musical offerings such as a signed CD by acclaimed countertenor Iestyn Davies, a private organ recital in Ely Cathedral and tickets to see The Magic Flute at the Royal Opera House.
