Stretham Bowls Club
The Club is located at a corner of the recreation ground just off the A10 Cambridge to Ely road.
We are a very friendly Club and extend a warm welcome to anyone interested in playing a game that was first played over 500 hundred years ago.
It’s the return of the very popular ‘Pudding Night’ at the bowls club this evening. Members donated homemade puddings and desserts for everyone to try. There were cheesecakes, trifles, bread and butter puddings, rice pudding, chocolate mousse and apple pie to name but a few. If the guests had any room left after the puddings, there was a cheese board selection, coffee and tea served with an after eight mint. Thank you for all the generous donations of wonderful desserts and raffles prizes.
Stretham Sliders vs Soham Pirates
On Wednesday 28th February Stretham Sliders played Soham Pirates at City of Ely Bowls Club. Stretham Sliders came a very close second to Soham Pirates!
Don't forget Stretham Bowls Club hold bacon butty mornings on the second Monday of every month, 10am -12pm, and these are open to the whole community. The next one is tomorrow - Monday 8th January with bargain prices of £2.50 for a butty and hot drink, £1.50 for an additional butty, and 50p for a hot drink!
The Bowls Club are generously supporting Stretham Primary School PSA this year with money raised from their bacon butty mornings, so the more bacon butties sold the better! Do go along and support them if you can.
Christmas wishes from everyone at Stretham Bowls Club.
