Happy New Year! We hope our customers, staff, family, and friends have a healthy and prosperous 2024.

We have fudged our way through our 11th Christmas and New Year! It doesn't feel possible, but at the same time, it feels like home.

As ever, your support is amazing! Without you lot, we wouldn't have our livelihood. One that causes us more stress and joy than we can comprehend.

This week is Apple Day prep at EFC! Ely hosts the fabulous Apple Day every year, a spectacular harvest festival takes over the city, with market stalls and family fun everywhere! 🍎🍏 For more information on what's happening on Saturday, 7th October 2023, head to Visit Ely.

For us, it marks the transition from summer to autumn, with lots of changes (including lots of apple themed fudge!) and getting excited for all the things to come for the next few months.

Also, I drew a tree!!! 🤣 👏 🌳

We've been very busy this week with the lovely weather! Fancy a triple scoop? You know where to go 😉 We have 10 delicious flavours of gelato to choose from, making some fabulous combinations. Happy 10th Birthday to us! Louise and Jes would love to thank everyone for the support over the last decade!

We've had some amazing and some super challenging experiences during that time, business wise and in our personal lives, but we wouldn't change any of it. Fudge is our life, and so is Ely!

Owning and running a business is hard. Really hard. But it brings another dimension to your life, that you didn't think was possible. Especially when you get to go through it all with each other! It's brought us so much closer together and we're still best friends in amongst it all ❤️

We would love to take the time to thank Visit Ely, for their constant support since we very first opened all that time ago! We also would like to thank all the local groups, charities and business' that have involved us in their work, or who have helped us along the way. Thank you to all our staff members, past and present! Your hard work has meant the world as we have navigated through some turbulent times.

And to our amazing customers, YOU ARE THE BEST! We literally wouldn't exist without you! Providing the people of Ely and beyond with fudge, chocolate, gelato, (and maybe a giggle if we can!) may seem silly to some, or not very important, but it brings us the world of joy, one that we never want to change.

Here's to 10 years! Or 3650 days. Or in our estimations, 50 tonnes of fudge!!!

Second special birthday flavour... Reeses Fudge! Yes, the return of the mighty 20kg, marbled beast. Upgraded recipe this year includes Reeses Cups, Reeses Minis and Reeses Pieces! What a nutter 😅 Boom boom!

Our special birthday flavours are appearing in the shop! First up is Jazzies! White Chocolate Fudge loaded with White Chcolate Jazzies and oodles of sprinkles. You have been begging for this to return so we had to do it as a special for you all! Louise is making a cheeky second batch this morning if you fancy seeing it being made too! Katie really enjoyed designing our fudge of the week board as well, can you tell?!
