Replaced a length of cast pipe on this down pipe after it became cracked and started leaking down the wall. Re sealed with highly flexible mastic and a coat of Hammerite 👌🏼

Finished this last week in the rain. Using Redland farmhouse red groveburys, dry ridge & vents. Has come out well & a good turn around for the two of us! 👌🏼

Sun Slating ☀️

Got this wrapped up after a week of slating in the boiling sun. Using some .pizarras on this garage to match in with the existing that we completed last year & some Repco Ridge to top it off!

Space Hopper

Cast iron hopper replacement, bit of repointing with needed on the old wonky brick & a coat of Hammerite. Proper old fashioned stuff.

Covered

Just a bit of 15” inch lead to flash this side of the dormer. Given it pretty of cover due a previous mortar details & fixed though the fire board, top stepped like normal!! 👌🏼👌🏼

Simple

New bit of cast effect gutter, simple but effective stuff.

Paneled

Finished this one the other week using LA LUX pizarras natural slate around the GSE panels. Real tricky one with the panels, having to do everything from right to left and hanging on top of the panels, but we got there 💪🏼

Potting About

New pots, inserts & reflauching for this chimney. All the Clay from wattsroofingsupplies. 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼

Ticked Off

Another one ticked off the list, a few hiccups with carpentry making it a bit of a drag but great to get it over the line and looking smart.

Helix

A little one to finish off at this site. Quite a challenging roof, was like battening a helix. Using local Burwell white clay plains. Come out very traditional looking 👍

Contemporary

Finished this slate roof up. Using CAFERSA PIZARRAS LOUSAVAL slates, a very frustrating slate to use but we have got them down to a good standard. Going on top of the zinc coping gives it a nice contemporary look and the panels on the back 👌🏼

We are now 100% complete on our Wicken project, using Acme plains for the chimney looks smart.

Porched

Porch complete on our Wicken project, just the chimney to finish now 👍🏼. Completed with Acme tiles!

Garaging

Finished up the garage on the Pantile job we did a while back. As ever with Sandtoft Neo Pans it has come out looking great & the train track style ridge 👌🏻 just the porch & chimney left to go here!

Gutter Done

We got to do the guttering on the job in our last post. Using as always from came out well ! 👍🏼👍🏼

Extension 💪🏼

Finished up this extension last week. Big one with a lot of work in all the hip & valleys. Using tiles, vents & .danelaw roll out ridge 👌🏻. We’re super happy with it & thank you to the clients for their hospitality

Reclaimed Slate

One we completed last year, but I was too busy swanning off to Ibiza to get some photos. Deffo come out super well with the old Welsh, now looking forward to doing the kitchen in the foreground

Red Roofed

Got this one finished up last week in lakenheath. Using this new Sandtoft standard patterns with proctorgroup felt hambleside.danelaw dry ridge.
Super happy how it’s come out looking & nice to have a bit of sun!

Fire Replacement

New roof on these two garages after a fire left them heavily damaged. New tiles, felt, batten and lead where needed. Coming out well for a nice quick two day turnaround

Catching Up

New fascia & gutter on this one, using gutter.
Then we have wire brushed the roof off, repaired tiles & repointed hips and ridge.

Matchy Matchy

Finished this garage off for JBL the other week, to match the building we did in November. Come out real well !!! Using the tiles

Ready…💨

Ready for a false sill. This window was letting in moisture, so we have capped it with lead ready for the maintenance team at the college to fit a new hard wooden false sill

Finished this one this morning just before the cold snap. Using the old dreadnought.tiles on the front to keep in keeping with the street & new marley_ltd tiles on the back with some smart looking new clay ridges from wattsroofingsupplies this has turned out top class. Thanks to Stu at Audus & Peachey Construction for this one! 🤙🏼

Concrete Pan

Completed this one last week for a small developer. Using Redland fenland Pantile & . Really happy to get this done & how it’s come out with some different details

Wrapped this one up at the start of the year using slates, clay ridge & the faithful . First time using this man made slate look good when down. On to the next one!

Done Done

Finished this one for JBL. Using mendips, vents & felt supports, lead valley & dry ridge. Come out well, looking forward to coming back to do the garage and hopefully getting some pictures of it with the scaffolding down 👍🏼
