My linoleum faced plywood kitchen furniture is proving popular, partly due to its environmentally sound credentials, and also because it offers a elegant design and finish that is also functional.

Extending dining table handcrafted from beautiful pale fine grained sustainably managed Sycamore hardwood. Who wouldn’t want to wine and dine at this table?!

We recently installed this bespoke, solid Ash hardwood, hand painted kitchen for a customer in Waterbeach, Cambridgeshire. The dark granite and Oak trim set off the soft linen paintwork. All wood is certified as fully sustainably managed.

15 drawers for a solid wood kitchen soon to be installed. 60 dovetail joints all cut in a day! The Ash hardwood dovetails were cut using a router jig. This bespoke kitchen furniture is hand built from solid Ash hardwood which is certified as sustainably grown and managed.

A big thank you to all our lovely visitors who came to see us over the past two weekends when we transformed our workshop into an exhibition space for 8 artist makers. It was great to catch up with returning art lovers and meeting new ones. It’s now full steam ahead with the current work in progress, which will be a hand painted kitchen with granite worktops. Hope you’re all keeping cool in the heat

I’m back furniture making in between our two weekends. What a versatile workshop space!! This worktop and corner cupboard are hand crafted from European Oak, which has been sustainably grown and managed. The wood complements the bespoke hand built, hand painted kitchen furniture installed in a Victorian house in Cambridge.

The amazing team at Sibu Wildlife Sanctuary provides a long term home for wildlife that would not survive in the wild due to severe injuries, disabilities and the illegal pet trade ie suffering caused by humans (typically howler monkeys being electrocuted by new uninsulated power lines). Sibu Wildlife Sanctuary campaigns to get the power lines insulated and it also educates and raises our awareness of the biodiversity of the natural environment that these animals depend on, as do we, and as does the future of our planet.

It’s not just about ! Outside my is my fruit cage and vegetable patch which as it’s Fen soil produces an abundance of produce. This is my first attempt at making wine from raspberries and perhaps you’ll agree the colour is beautiful. The blackcurrant vintage looks to be maturing nicely too. Anyone got a recipe for wine?!
