Having to consult your 16yo coz you haven’t got a clue, then actually making an added extra to a cake you know nothing about is quite frankly an impressive achievement !! Thank goodness for Google !! That is all !!

Love it when I get left to my own devices, I get to try new things .. 3 attempts later and I had the perfect macaron, a first for doing cake pops and a new way of making flowers .. Brief was Black and Gold, think I understood the assignment .. The picture just does not do this cake any justice whatsoever .. This one has to be up there as one of my favourites .. Couldn’t be any more pleased with myself if I tried !

First cake of 2024 !!! Brief was Fortnite & Prime, think I understood the assignment .. I didn’t even disclose anything design wise which was a massive risk not even a picture, was just left to my own devices !! Super uber chuffed !!

First time I’ve ever been nervous about a cake !! It was for the boss’s wife !! Love the reactions when the lid comes off the box .. Only the 3rd cake I’ve done from a drawn picture and now this one is being saved til tomorrow when it takes a trip to Dorset to be shared ☺️☺️☺️ It’s been an absolute pleasure to do ☺️☺️☺️

So what was meant to be a surprise, the daughter knew exactly what was going on !! Baby’s shower arranged by her mummy pals, I just did the cake 🤣🤣 Chocolate orange and baby dino ☺️☺️☺️

Had the pleasure of doing the grandkids birthday cake .. Raspberry ripple flavoured cake and buttercream with raspberry jam .. A bit out of my comfort zone getting it ‘right’ as a first for using this type of cake topper for decoration and making the fondant skirts .. Didn’t turn it too bad I don’t think .. pictures didn’t do it justice !

An absolute pleasure and honour to do this for my lovely work colleagues’ daughter and her newly married husband .. Hope you had an amazing day .. Congratulations to you all !!

When I’ve not done a cake for a while I always struggle to get motivated .. when I do start though I just get in the zone and crack on .. not guna lie, this one did scare me just a tad .. some things just have to be perfect, that’s just me .. I do like doing models but it has to be realistic and look something like what it’s meant to ☺️☺️☺️
