I am in process of making this delicate soft feel veil for my bride Lucy. This will require hand stitching as that way I will achieve the flawless finish. I have about 8 m to stitch. What are you making this morning?

I am starting my Monday morning with sewing about 100 + buttons .uk onto Lucy’s dress. How did your week started? What are you tackling today?

Congratulations to Rose and Edward on their vowel renewal. Rose and Edward’s planned to renew their vowels as they christened their first born son. You won’t believe this but Rose is actually expecting their second baby. We have selected gown which did not gave away her stage of pregnancy. Rose has personalised her gown, which was off the peg, by shortening the lining layers and making it more lightweight in layers. We have added lace up at the back to allow for comfort. This gown was blush in colour which complimented her skin tone perfectly and contrasted her luscious hair,I have had an envy of! Well done guys and best wishes for your future. P. S. I can’t believe we are heading for June already. May was wedding free for myself but June will be making up for it. Prom season is in a full swing as are the exams. This year it is my daughter’s turn and it’s lovely seeing all of her classmates all grown up and looking very glamorous - more about that in June. I have made a decision to close my Etsy shop. It has its hay day and even though I have made about 3K of sales I felt change was needed. But don’t panic I am opening bridal accessories shop on TikTok. Abi got married recently and here is her dress. Laser cut lace on the skirt with soft satin bodice. Very romantic style which fitted her location perfectly.

Last night I have received photos from recent wedding of Monika & Crisztian. Monika’s dress was lightweight A line dress with see through bodice and leaf detailing on base of tulle. Very easy to wear. Complimented by finger tip length veil with scalloped edge and handmade hair vine.

How important are finishing touches? What needs to be considered when working with fine materials? This gorgeous soft feel silk chiffon skirt by needs 3 point bustle for the evening part of the wedding. I have decided crochet tiny loops from an ivory thread to keep with the barely there effortless look.

Models: @⁨Hannah Atkinson Model Let’s discuss the most amazing flower arrangements for both looks. Each of the suppliers have had an idea of what they wanted to represent. When I have first heard about photo shoot in Venice I have had my ideas about my dress designs. One short fun and other long, lace sophisticated look. I could have not imagined anything as lush as Alli from created. It took my breath away. And moreover, as she couldn’t ‘pack’ any of her flowers in her suitcase, she herself didn’t know what to expect once she has gone to collect her order. I salute you! And for you girls/ brides I know who I would have asked to do my wedding flowers!

Lots of timeless fashion.
I loved princess Margaret’s toile of wedding dress. Very simplistic style but beautifully made.
Many lovely headdresses too and one dress was made out of materials of supplier I still use today. Harrington lace and fabrics !
What I have noticed was that many of the exhibits came with tragic story. Clearly the curator was looking for a bit of drama!

Models: Part two. The day fun playful look had been transformed by a simple demure lace style wedding dress. No fuss is needed when you have chantilly lace to play with. Simple shape, high neck, sleeves - I have added just a few lace motives on the sleeve hem and shoulders. Puddle sized train and an open back. Sprinkle a few covers buttons and accessorise with beautiful earrings and long veil. Hair and make up just to enhance beautiful features by and of course not to forget the cherry on the ‘cake’ stunning bouquet in blood red to complete our look by It was a fun to work with so many talented people.
