The Tree Fairy

Not the greatest day for this Acer pseudoplatanus. Which wasn’t looking in the greatest of health with some large areas of aerial deadwood and poorly compartmentalised wounds having had some large limbs already removed in the past, upon further inspection there was a large Rigidoporus bracket behind the tree out of sight with another bracket further up the stem.

Sadly not good news for this tree which has been deemed unsustainable due to the area of risk (by a main road) and extent of decay; despite the fungi being a slow decayer it has been in the tree for some time.

Welcome all to The Tree Fairy,
after spending the majority of last 2023 in the district tree office I decided to venture back outside to continue doing what I enjoy most, alongside studying arboriculture level 4 I will be offering tree and hedge cutting services, removals and garden maintenance, alongside this I am also offering a support service to homeowners and agents with TPO and TCA applications.

I am nptc qualified, basic tree inspector certified and hold numerous city and guilds arboricultural qualifications.
