It was a pleasure to welcome Tim Ayres from .workwear to our headquarters last week, for the first of our training sessions on Flame and ARC Protection workwear standards and certification.

This session focussed on The Importance of Protection / Not All Workwear Is Equal.

We use the knowledge and insight gained in training such as this to ensure our customers receive not only the very best service but more important, the right protection workwear for the job!

Our purchasing manager and procurement assistant, Yvette and Ria volunteered to paint the exterior of a forest school shed at a local primary school, last week.

We donated the paint and paint brushes to support Yvette and Ria in their efforts.  Each year, we encourage our employees to volunteer – it is a meaningful way for us to give back to the community and it’s empowering; the team get to use their skills and experience for a worthwhile cause. 
 
Yvette comments:  “The weather was perfect, and it was great to be able to help within our local community.
 
“We want to make it an environment where the children can appreciate their beautiful surroundings and have fun whilst learning.  We enjoyed it so much that Ria and I will be volunteering our own time to help paint the inside too!” 👏👏👏
 
Each Burlington Uniforms employee is gifted two volunteer days per year as part of our Employee-supported Volunteering initiative.

The world route is 22,615 miles. Each week, Emma logs our steps to see how far, collectively, we are into our virtual walk. If we’re not on target, we work together to make it up – walking in our lunch break and after work.

We were very pleased to welcome one of our key suppliers, to our head office last week.
 
When people think of Uneek they automatically think of T-shirts, polo shirts, sweatshirts, and hoodies, etc.
