On Saturday 9th September I'm walking the Thames Path from Putney to Hampton, with the Poplar Harca Housing Association, in memory of Poplar's Adam Stone..with friends and colleagues Ian Robinson and Greg Wade. All fund raising to go to Headway, the brain injury association, who provide UK-wide support and information to improve life after brain injury.

Saddened to hear that one of my favourite architects Michael Hopkins has died. I did my dissertation on his Velmead School and visited their North London Practice back in 91 to interview him and his wife Patti . Visited the Mellor factory only last year.

In Peak District by chance we found this icon by Michael Hopkins, the Mellor Building. Sadly were unable to enter in due to restrictions

Really pleased with the result on this project delivered by Blox Architects. We took on a derelict house in Hackney and converted it to two duplex apartments, with new basement, new loft, new extensions and light-wells. We took on the project as a full service, from survey, through planning, building control, on to site and to completion.
