I wasn’t going to share this here however after a few unsatisfied customers recently, I think it’s necessary to share...

I’ve recently lost someone very close and special in my life. This has unfortunately led to some very difficult days and unable to process orders or communicate with you as I usually would.

Please bear in mind, ‘small businesses’ are usually ran by one or two people. So when life happens, it really rocks the boat! We’re not an Amazon that can function seamlessly in turbulent times.

I want to reassure you that whilst things may be taking a little longer, I hugely value every customer and am pushing to get back up and running as usual soon.

Anyone else in this weird in-between stage of loving the sunny moments but not knowing what to wear and still feels to risky to plan a BBQ in advance?!

My 6 year old has been asking me everyday 😅

Our pawesome little helper has been joining in this week! 💗

All your pet tags have been handmade by myself but the split rings have been carefully counted and every sticker on the envelopes (address label, stamps, returns label) have been lovingly placed by this keen bean. 💗🌺🐾

We only make one product. And we are pawesome at it!

Over the years we’ve dabbles with expanding our pawesome range to other products such as dog biscuits and dog bowls.

What we’ve come to learn is, we’re best when it comes to making our original product, Pawesome Pet Tags!

Why are we best at this?

Firstly, this is our area of expertise. We’ve been making dog tags for 10+ years and know our quality is amongst the best out there. We’re happy in our niche and want to keep excelling at what we do best.

Secondly, we’re the manufacture. So not only do we have full control over quality checks, we can also offer a superior product at a competitive price.

Finally, there is still so much more we want to achieve with our Pawesome Pet Tags. We want to be the chosen manufacture for major pet brands, we want to partner with values led dog charities and rescues, we want to be the chosen supplier for dog walkers and day cares up and down the country.

So as of this week, we’re taking the dog biscuits, dog bowls and cufflinks off the website. Our Pawesome Pet Tags will be front and centre!

(I’ll keep the keyrings as I know they’re helpful for people like me that constantly misplace their keys 🤪)

Ok you caught me - I HAVE FOMO! 🫣🫠

Each year my mumtrepenure heart breaks a little as we enter ‘show season’. Brands transform their insta businesses into incredible stalls, selfies appear of all the with their best furry customers, I can’t deny - I have fomo.

However I don’t attend for three reasons:
1. I currently make and sell one product, and it’s RRP is £9.99. I’d need to sell a looooot of tags to make profit at these high end shows. Their costs are just too high for little us, even through we’re PAWESOME! 🌟
2. From experience, shoppers want an item they can take away on the day. The making process of Pawesome Pet Tags is more involved than engraving. So we can’t make our products on the day (without other significant costs).
3. I am the main caregiver for my kiddies and the hubby works weekends. Maybe if the above points didn’t exist, could call in some favours and invest the time needed. But 🤷🏻‍♀️ tis the reality of right now.

Why am I sharing this?

I’m sure many of the brands I follow have faced their own struggles to make it work and make it worthwhile. I’d love to hear what these were and how you overcame these? (Comments below welcome or feel free to DM me 😊)
