Lights💡….camera🎥….action🎬!
The highlight this week at work for me, although it’s been full on for an event in London; I was able to spend more time filming on the professional Sony XDCam camera filming the presentations and panel discussion. All while still training in VMix for these events.

Writing a thank you message to the Queen for all that she had done. RIP 🙏🏼🙏🏼👑👑

Buon Ferragosto/ Happy mid summer festival! I hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine despite the heat. 🇮🇹❤️
As this gorgeous typical Italian Piaggio Ape, selling fruit and veg door to door to the locals was driving past, I managed to capture this moment and the driver even smiled to pose for the picture in our quaint Italian village.

Holding newborn lambs in my arms was like therapy, what an incredible experience. A feeling like no other, the innocence of these adorable animals jumping up on me was just too cute. We visited a local Italian farmer here in Molise for mozzarella and pecorino cheese and came across the little lambs and sheep walking around freely. Being in the countryside and seeing these animals was just such a highlight. Then the mozzarella well wow just wow absolutely delicious!

This was my last event for the summer, a two day medical event working for Stream Motion live streaming to a large audience of medical professionals from all over the world as well as at the event.

We recorded the event with two cameras a for the panel discussion and a for the medium shot on the main presenter. As well as filming the audience and the main speaker as well as capturing some photos of the day.

Yesterday was one of the most magical experiences I have ever had✨. As a family we were literally centimetres from a White Hart Deer, that stayed next to us for more than half an hour, being so close to wildlife we were speechless and so captivated by this incredible creature.

Then, I think what was, a European Fallow deer just stood there waiting to be photographed in all its glory🦌.

Around 7 years ago when my now husband proposed, we were cycling through this same park and saw 7 White Hart Deer together, it was so amazing to see.

Now that’s amore❤️ Happy Fathers Day to the most incredible father any child could ask for. Thank you for everything you’ve done to support me, thank you for being you! 🥰🥰 🇮🇹🙏🏼

I was particularly blown away by for her fascinating talk on how to learn from failure as a positive thing. Please check out her podcast and book, it was a game changer listening to her!

This week it was super fun to attend The Media Production & Technology show at Kensington Olympia. 🎥🎬💻🎧

It was so interesting to hear speakers in the tv and film industry who do colour grading and music composition for some of the biggest blockbusters, how they achieved it and the reasons for making the final decisions they did!! Just fascinating!

It was great to see the wide range of products that can be used for live streaming, video tech gear, the larger scale cameras all for the ever changing production industry.

This is me last week FINALLY doing my first vMix gig, super exciting!🙌🏼🎉
I had first set my eyes on this piece of hardware around Christmas time. Since then it’s been intense training, with this programme you’re literally running to show which is live streamed to hundreds of people.
But I do love that adrenaline rush, the vision mixing, the timing, the flow of the event and all the things that go with it!

Last week was our first overnight stay since our last trip 3 years ago before Covid.
It was just so exciting to go away in the UK even though for just a night.
We took a walk in a nature reserve and came across this beautiful cluster of trees, it was so calming walking amongst such natural beauty, it’s times like these that help me realise the effect of being in that feel good environment.

This is one of the many frozen flower eggs that my friend gave me the idea for, that my kids created! It was lovely seeing them running in the garden picking flowers for their creation.

Part 1: You know that feeling of being a kid in a sweet shop?
Well this was the grown up version of that 😂
when we attended the BSC exhibition (British Society Cinematographers) we got to see the highest spec cameras in the film industry from Red to Sony, it was mindblowing!
Visual effects walls to robot cameras and other broadcasting equipment that soon will be something .uk will probably need to invest in.

Happy Friday all! It’s been an amazing and busy week working on a hybrid event for helping reduce carbon emissions! It’s brings a light of hope to see the effort of drastic changes being made for the future.

Hey all! Happy Friday!
So nice that things are slowly going back to normal after lockdown.
I worked on a very interesting event a couple of days ago in central London.
My first hybrid event being at the live event and seeing other humans in person😂, it was just such a buzz and to be part of running this event!

The first day of spring🌼🌹and also the birthday of an incredible soul Shri Mataji, who taught me and my family about how to be become that better person we want to be and admire.

If you said to me a few years ago, I would be working in my dream career in production, I would never, ever have believed you🎥.

Then if you said that this career involves dealing with the technical side too. I would’ve laughed in your face, as that was an area of expertise I’ve always left to the IT crowd.

I have managed to prove myself wrong and even my husband🙌🏼 who is usually the tech guy😜
But now I can say with such difficulties along the way, hard work, determination and not giving up, I’m the tech girl💻

Hopefully paving the way for my own daughters who need to believe in themselves and explore areas in their career that normally wouldn’t be given a second thought.
