Green Solutions was working in addlestone this week reducing this large twin stemmed eucalyptus tree. The reduction of 30% was necessary to alleviate weight from the canopy to prevent stems failing in high winds. The work was completed in one day and all waste removed from site 🌲 🌳

Green Solutions was working in Claygate felling this decayed Cherry tree. Although looking healthy the tree has a brown rot at the base which caused half of the tree to already fail, and the remainder would as well in time! 🌲

8 years, and the pruning allows more light into the flats and communal below ☀️ 🌲

Green Solutions is working in Claygate over the next two days felling this row of storm damaged leylandii trees 🌲 half the trees have already collapsed in the wind luckily into the garden below and not on the nearby property!

It was the last of the fallen trees from the recent storms 💨 to clear up this weekend. This fallen birch tree in Surbiton, managed to avoid causing any significant damage apart from a few dents in the lawn! The tree was processed and all waste removed in a mornings work 🌲

Green Solutions battled the wind 💨 on Monday, re pollarding this mature eucalyptus tree in Kingston. Routinely pollarding vigorous eucalyptus trees every 5-6 years helps keep mature trees in smaller gardens safe. It reduces the risk of limb failure in high winds as well as the benefit of greater sunlight ☀️ levels in the garden. Although it looks drastic, it won’t take long for the tree to regrow come the spring! The work took at day to complete, with all waste removed from site and the garden left clean and tidy 🧹 🌲

Green Solutions has managed this old bramley apple tree for over 8 years, and today was the day for its prune 🌳 winter is the best season for pruning old apple trees such as this one 👍
