9 bays of fencing we installed in Maldon

A full garden makeover we recently completed in South Woodham, we took up the old artificial grass and the paved area and installed a grey composite decking to the front and rear of the garden, and installed a 40mm artificial grass.
My brother Oli Cook came in and built the amazing summer house from scratch, which has a workshop built on the side, it was a lovely project to work with OEC Carpentry Services.

We replaced a new hit and miss fencing in Shoeburyness, for a very well known packaging company

A poorly laid composite decked area we had to completely remove and start again, we installed a new composite decking on a new timber carcass, grey coated aluminium handrails and two aluminium gates.

A job we completed today in tillingham, we installed a new kandla grey Indian sandstone around the perimiter of the garden, and down the side of the house which butted up to the original concrete pavers, so the garden was more usable for the elderly customer, we also re turfed the lawn using a high quality turf supplied by Tolleshunt Turf.

We installed a new drainage for a toilet, including a new manhole, we ran 50mtrs of water pipe from the house to the log cabin, reinstated stone driveway, then we installed a new concrete base and replaced an old concrete path with a new one.

Another job we’ve just done, we pulled out all the original edgings, and installed a new edge using block pavers, we reduced all the flower beds, removed all the granite chippings, and installed new fresh top soil and some high quality turf.

A job we completed in maldon, this is to date our biggest job, we really took on a task here. There was 2 of us that competed this whole job, we dug out the garden to make it a larger space to use, we relaid the old slate paving with a charcoal boarder using as much of the old materials as we could to make it look like it had been there forever, then to save the grass getting ruined from the giant air track that was going to be used we installed a high quality artificial grass and I think you will agree that an area this big you need a good quality artificial to make it look as real as you can, we fully brushed it to give the best impact. We installed a large retaining wall with all oak sleepers to retain the garden that's not forgetting the amount of clay and soil that came out 190 tonnes plus all the land drainage to take the excess water from the upper tier of the garden, then our next task was to build steps raising up 2 flights on to a decking at the back of the garden, with an inground trampoline built in to the new composite decking with drainage to take all the water away from the trampoline, the whole decking was retained on both sides with even more sleepers, the steps were all retained with sleepers too, we then move across to the left side of the garden where we installed a new path to the left using original slate slabs, we installed a new fence plus a new gate and rebuilt the steps using even more sleepers and where the large tree in the centre at the bottom part of the garden is we installed 4 tonne of slate with a nice timber boarder built with landscape boards moving up to the top of the garden. We built a large retaining sleeper wall with slate inside so that it can be a nice area behind the garage to relax, we also replaced the vegetable patch with a nice new modern sleeper veg patch, then on the upper left part of the garden we installed a log cabin which was previously on the other side of the garden and we installed a boarder with another 5 tonne of slate installed, we then installed a new sleeper retaining wall with new steps and a concrete base for a new log cabin to be installed. Our next task was laying 450 rolls of turf and 20 tonne of topsoil which I add we did in 2 days with 2 men! We then went to the front of the property where we installed a nice new turfed area, throughout the job we installed over 9 cubic mtrs of bark aswell just to dress the job up, we are extremely proud of this job, anyone that does the same trade as us knows for 2 people to complete a job of this size is a huge achievement! there is no limit to what we can do the bigger the better! 😊😊
Also the reason some sleepers are black and others are not is because the customer is working her way round painting them. 🎨

A job we done in south woodham, Oli Cornett came and removed all of the trees and hedging, and helped with taking the wall down, we then disposed of the wall and installed a new fence.

A job we completed in south woodham Ferrers, we installed a picket fence, removed the slated area and installed block pavers, we then dug off the grass and installed a decorative granite

A job we done earlier this year, we lifted, hand cleaned and relaid a block paved area and we added a charcoal boarder with a shingle trap

A job we started in December, then had to go back to due the the cold weather, we had to fully relay and rebuild the steps of a poorly laid patio, a full concrete base was laid for the porcelain and a very high quality grout was used instead of a brush in compound, how much better does it look now! 😍

A job we done in south woodham ferrers recently, removed and disposed of old decking, and installed a new one

A bit of a different job for us, the customer has bought a bit of land so we done a huge clearance in Chelmsford, all removed through a side gate! We came across all sorts including a set of stables we demolished and disposed of, we are back in April to install fencing and some metal framed gates

A little job we completed in southminster, a grey Indian sandstone patio, and we laid some shingle to the back half and a little bit of fencing
