Working World
Working World is an Evesham based training centre for adults with learning disabilities.
Lots of delicious meals cooked this week by clients at Working World such as homemade pie, and scotch eggs, and including homemade flatbreads for today’s lunch. 🍽️🌮🫓
We would like to thank Evesham Hospital Club for their extremely generous donation of £1,000 which we were invited to receive on Saturday evening. The money will go towards the purchase of a new training kitchen at our new centre. This will enable our clients to continue to develop their skills in catering, hospitality and independent living skills. We had a super evening enjoying the entertainment and even managed to have a dance too.
Intergenerational week is about raising global awareness about the power of intergenerational relationships, and what can be achieved when the young and old come together to form friendships, provide support and share knowledge.
We are proud to work with the wonderful team Working World an organisation for young people with learning difficulties who provide a lunch service for our POPI club.
Our POPI project is dedicated to assisting older people maintain a supported, but independent lifestyle. Our popular lunch club is held on the third Wednesday of the month at St Marys.
