We've counted up the final totals and we raised a whopping £957.95 at the Cedar Lodge Summer Fete recently 🤩 A HUGE thank you to everyone who came along to make it such a special day, to all the stall holders, the people & companies who donated so generously and to Offenham Village Hall & the Royal British Legion who so kindly hosted us. All funds raised will go towards our residents fund, with donations funding a resident trip out to Batsford Arboretum in the near future, which we're all very excited about! Thank you from everyone at Cedar Lodge Xx 🥰

A great afternoon of laughter and dancing with steel pan music . We will definitely be booking another visit. 😃 🎵 💃

What a great experience the residents had with the visit from Walks with Hawks 🦅 🦉 so interesting and interactive. The residents and staff loved every minute of it. Thank you ☺️ to the families who came and joined us, it was lovely to see the residents sharing the experience with their loved ones 🥰 we will definitely having them to visit again . 😃

What a busy week we’re having , 😮‍💨 😃 it was a trip to the valley for these lovely few. Looks so yummy 😋 they had a great time .

National doughnut 🍩 day complete. Lots of full belly’s today , 😃 the residents and staff had lots of fun with the giant doughnut to 😂

Today we have celebrated Tea day, tasting all different flavours of tea 🫖 along with lots of cake 🧁 (it would be rude not to 😂)
The residents also enjoyed a day of pampering. 💅 💇‍♀️ they have loved every minute .. 😃 they can’t wait until next time . Thank you to Jayne and Michelle for giving them the full treatment x

This week we celebrated Eurovision , a different European dish for each day and they went down a storm 🍲 🍽️ 😋 The residents have really enjoyed it, although it’s safe to say their favourite was definitely the fish and chips with mushy peas and curry sauce with the day ending with a visit from orchestra of the swan 🎤 🎵 where we all had a sing along.

Today we celebrated national laughter day. A whole day of games and laughter 😆 and dressing up 😂 we had a great time 🤡 even the district nurses got involved 🤣

What a special afternoon with the residents today as always 🎵 🎤 . Thank you to Offenham village hall and dementia alliance and the special ladies from the wind quartet. Laughter 😆 and fun 🤩 had by all with lots of singing in between. 🥰

Last year was a blast 💥, we hope to see you all again this year and hopefully Mr 🌞 will be on our side 😃 🎉

What a great day had by all 😃 🤩 starting with a quiz then a sing along 🎤 🎵 followed by a raffle and ending with a visit from a special Mr Claus 🎅 🧑‍🎄 . A big thank you to everyone who came and took part and to Betsy Harmony, you were fantastic.

Cup cakes 🧁 this week at cookery club. Made and eaten 😂 and they were yummy 😋 . The residents do enjoy a good baking session. Always full of fun 🤩 laughs 😆

This week the residents also enjoyed Halloween 🎃 a day of fun and games and an evening full of trick or treaters. What a turn out we had and some fantastic costumes 👻 🧙‍♀️ Thank you all so much for coming to see us . The residents and staff really enjoyed it. Hope to see you all again next time 🕷️ 😃

So this week we celebrated Anita who has worked for Cedar Lodge for an outstanding 30 years 💐 . We are so grateful for everything you do for all of the residents ,being a great cook and one of the kindest carers , Here’s to another 30 Ay 😜 🎉

The residents have been getting creative with pumpkin 🎃 carving. They had a great time 😃 getting ready for Halloween 👻

Last year lots of you turned up to show the residents your costumes 👻 🧙‍♀️ 👹 and they loved it . We hope to see you all again this year 🎃 😃

Well , yesterday we said goodbye to our manager ,Zoey, and what a send off she had . An afternoon full of laughter 😂,singing and dancing 💃 with BetsyHarmony 🎤 🎶 . She was amazing and the residents had a great time . 😃
