I was bought a loom for my birthday last year and now, one year on, I finally have the basic skills to put it to good use 🧡 Might need to go yarn shopping 🤔 (like I need an excuse).

Waste not… want knot! Chunky keyrings were the perfect solution to a little left over cord… that terracotta was way too nice to just throw away 🧡

Today is my birthday… and it’s a big one! Today I celebrate 50 fabulous years of being me 🥂 and I am so truly grateful 💛
I remember being so anxious and bothered in the lead up to turning 40, and thought, how the hell am I going feel a decade on. But, over the last 10 years, I feel like I have finally found my place in life. So as I enter my 5th decade, I do so with a big smile. Age is a privilege not afforded to everyone and whilst there maybe a few more wrinkles and little less energy, I’m going to fully embrace every moment. Happy Birthday to me 🥳

It’s was 3rd time lucky with this macrame handbag… I didn’t want to follow a pattern so just went with the flow (untied it twice 😵‍💫) and now finally happy with the result. It’s listed on Etsy but will come along to my first craft fair of the year in Sedgeberrow on 27 April, if not sold x

I’ve been in creative hibernation since the beginning of December and it’s actually been a very welcome respite. Then, just as the ni**le of creativity started to shake me from my slumber … BOOM 💥 I’m hit with a horrible virus 🦠 that wiped me out for well over a week! Today I’m making a move!! I’ve signed up for my first market and finally listed these two lovelies on Etsy. I might even go all out and do some knotting! 🤍

The crazy craft weekend continues with a craft & produce market at Beckford Inn today! 10am-3pm

The boy’s Art homework was to make a blue Christmas decoration based on ‘Love, Hope & Peace’, using things we already had… he loves my macrame candy canes, so had the idea to turn them into a heart. I showed him a simple way to wrap… think he did a pretty good job! The boy’s a natural 🩵 Might have to steal his idea for next year’s Christmas offferings 😊

Although I had a fabulous day at Dumbleton Craft Market, this little beauty is still with me. She will be coming to Lifford Hall on Friday 1 December for Broadway late night Christmas shopping, unless some claims her before then….💙

The long awaited macrame bag!!

I did it again… almost finished in a day then cast it aside for weeks without doing the finishing touches!
