In order for us to start the demolition work ready for our new build, we’ve built a wall….and it’s a bit plain.
Need some nice, cheap advertising space where planning permission isn’t required?

Thanks to the McDonalds team who shifted a few barrows of chippings to make our zip wire safer- they are now providing regular monthly volunteer support on the first Monday of the month -let us know if you want to join in helping with various tasks across the playground.

The scare ground will be open on 31st October 6.30pm-bring spare underwear as you might need it!!

Due to unforeseen circumstances, our AGM didn’t happen last month, so will now be held on Thursday 24th Oct at 6pm.

We are looking to recruit bank staff to cover playschemes, staff holidays and sickness- do you think to have the right skills to add to our ‘play bank’?
We are looking for a whole range to engage with children including building/ gardening/ sports/ crafts/ cooking/engineering/event management and more.

Want to know what we do at our after-school group?
Thought about childcare after school or just need a day to catch up on parent stuff but haven't used the Adventure Playground before?
Come along on Thursday 26th September from 3.30pm til 5pm and join in with our session -lots going on, and a free snack for all.

We spent our summer '24 playing outside for 6 weeks :
- we had over 3500 visits from around 500 individual children and young people who came to play, some with their moms/dads/ aunts/uncles/grandparents or carers .
- of those 500, around 50 needed some extra support during their visit from our workers and volunteers
- just under 300 attended our care scheme where parents are at work, training or just need some respite care.
- 200 came through our 'open access' scheme, free to come and go when they want
- we fed all of these children, and their families each day with FREE hot lunches
- we provided a range of activities each day, including 5 family theme days, and a National Play Day

Great day at Edgebaston reservoir with ‘ On the Water’ -sailing, canoeing, swimming with our young people. Big thanks to the Midland Sea Cadets for making this happen.

Due to weather we will be cancelling family day - hopefully better weather next week 🤞🏻
