Beautiful blue skies, sunshine and a crisp chill in the air over The Vale today. A perfect day where a family’s loved one’s favourite hymn/song “Autumn Days” was aptly incorporated into their personal bespoke funeral ceremony for a fitting farewell. 🍂🌿

On this beautiful bright day, a touch of bright red for a farewell honouring a family’s loved one with his favourite colour and football team.

It was a privilege to work alongside Lee Russell Independent Funeral Directors on this occasion, supporting the family and delivering a respectful farewell for their loved one.

All the crematoria I am privileged to conduct services at have lovely grounds which are tended to by the dedicated and hardworking staff. Tranquil grounds for families to sit & reflect. Today the sun shone over Redditch where the chapel’s huge glazed window overlooks the beautiful Worcestershire countryside.

I received these lovely words from a bereaved family member this morning - capturing concisely the very reason I entered this profession, which I am honoured to be a part of.
