A small area, but a massive amount of prep - building-up, levelling off and installing a DPM before even making a start on fitting the flooring, but as they say, it's all in the prep....

Continuing the customers existing flooring in the Kitchen, we fitted Knight Tile Rose Washed Oak with 3mm Coffee Design Strips to create a ships decking effect on a diagonal.

An installation last week on a residential park, starting with the uplift of porcelain tiles and carpet, followed by a flexible screed and completed with Van Gogh Ebony on a diagonal lay 👌

Having originally considered Dove Castello Marble, a much paler tone, the customer utilised the online room visualiser, Karndean Floorstyle, and decided on the much bolder tones of Ebony and the striking diagonal laying pattern which creates flow between the various spaces.

This one was a bit of a challenge last week!!

Different levels between new and old, damp, and a subfloor that dropped away by nearly 40mm in one area, but has done a great job getting it prepped to perfection using all products!!! 💪

This customer has had Blond Oak parquet laid throughout their kitchen diner and we think it looks great! It accentuates the features of the room with the exposed brick work but creates a great flow between the two areas. Laid in the classic herringbone style, and yet modernised by the kitchen fittings this flooring will always be a favourite!
