Bretforton Community Shop is a thriving village shop, social hub, employer & outlet for local produce. Because we're owned and run by the Community, it's our mission to go above and beyond to serve the people we live and work with. We make every effort to exceed our customers' expectations, support local producers and deliver excellent, friendly service.
You know Christmas is coming when the John Lewis ad hits our TV screens and luxury mince pies arrive in the Shop. Buy them now before we eat them all! They're also available to order. Pick up one of our Christmas order forms for delicious mince pies and lots of other seasonal goodies.
It’s all rather spooky at Bretforton Community Shop. 🦇 🕸️ We have everything you need for Halloween. From handy treat bags for your ‘trick or treat’ visitors, to delicious Halloween-themed biscuits, and pumpkins, of course 🎃
Need some veg for your Sunday lunch today? Try the range from our new local supplier - local and seasonal, delicious!

It's wonderful to see The ARK open again. Karen was a great supporter of Bretforton Community Shop. She is much missed, but we're delighted to see that her grandson, Adam, has taken over the reins. Very best of luck Adam! The Ark, in addition to selling antiques, now runs a knife & tool sharpening and restoration service. It's open Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 9am and 5pm, and Sunday between 10am and 5pm. Please support it!
It's our Annual Members' Meeting tonight, 7pm at Bretforton Memorial Hall. Whether you're a shareholder, member, or not, please come along. If you're not a member you can always join (and therefore vote) on the night.
You'll have a say in approving the accounts and electing the committee for the year ahead. Plus get an update on the Shop's progress and a chance to air your views. And have a complimentary drink and taste of Shop produce on us!
Lots of lovely pastries and fresh French bread in the Shop this morning. Oh la la!
We have lots of lovely sausages in stock. How do you like yours? On the BBQ, with mash, in a bun, for breakfast, with ketchup, in a casserole...? However you like them, why not pick some up today and get sizzling!
If you like flower arranging but aren't confident enough to enter one of our regular floral art classes, why not try our novice class? New this year, it's open only to flower arranging novices who haven't won a floral art 1st prize at any of our previous Shows.
Visit www.bretforton.net/competition-classes.html for more information and complete the online entry form.
We have plenty of delicious Fladbury pies in stock at the moment. If you're short of inspiration for tea today, why not make it a pie night?
Wishing all our customers a very Happy Bank Holiday Weekend. We're open as normal at the weekend but have reduced Bank Holiday hours on Monday when we're open from 9am-1pm. And if you're at a loose end on Monday, don't forget it's Bank Holiday Brass at the Fleece from 1pm - an afternoon of music with Bretforton Silver Band.
For all you plummy people out there. We're selling delicious, Bretforton-grown plums in aid of next year's Village Proms. Come and get them while stocks last and raise money for a good cause too!
Now back in stock, award-winning & great-tasting, delicately smoked products from local artisan producer, Macneil's Smokehouse. Beechwood smoked mackerel fillets and smoked salmon. If you haven't tried them yet, you don't know what you're missing!
Macneil's smoke their food in small batches for the best results, and produce everything by hand to their own recipe. It's no wonder they've won some amazing national awards for their outstanding quality and taste. OK, not the cheapest, but we don't think you'll find finer. Why not treat yourself today!
The deadline for entering this year's Bretforton Show is fast approaching. Don't miss getting your entries in. Look out for another leaflet of classes coming through letterboxes in Bretforton. Our Story
Open Mon-Sun in the car park at Bretforton Community Social Club (The Legion). Please "like" this page to keep up-to-date and show your support.
Bretforton Post Office & Shop closed on 27 April 2013. The Parish Council held a village meeting on 20 February 2013 to discuss the situation and explore options for the future. There was widespread support for a Community Shop in Bretforton so a Steering Committee was formed to take this forward.
If you'd like to get involved in any way (and we'll need lots of help), please let us know. Post on this site or email [email protected]
