Garage Art Group aims to improve the health and wellbeing of all members of society through the visual arts. Professional tutors run groups in Evesham and Malvern for anyone looking for a friendly place to get involved with art and learn new skills. We aim to provide groups for all ages and abilities including adults with learning difficulties and those who are looking to improve their mental heal

Our Story
The Garage Art Group is open to all members of the public and its primary purpose is on the benefits of Art for mental wellbeing. Our focus is to support adults who are recovering from mental health problems and clients who have learning difficulties and /or special needs. We also run a general public session, children’s art group and birthday parties. The groups are run by Professional Tutors and volunteer Support Tutors.
One of The Garage Art’s Groups major aims is to enhance the confidence of students through sense of achievement using the medium of art therapy.
We aim to break down social barriers and stigmas attached to people living with mental health and or have a special need. We also feel that art can bring people together, reducing isolation, providing a safe space for anyone wanting to learn a new skill or just have an option to be part of a group.
The Garage Art Group has built up an excellent reputation and have referrals from the Community Mental Health Team, Social Services, Onside Advocacy/Life Links and Occupational therapists.
The Garage Art group is a self - funding charity and relies on the generosity of the general public and grants to enable our work to continue. We are a small Charity but have a big heart. We want to be able to continue with our valuable work and if you can help us do this by donating a little cash no matter how large or small, your money will make a huge difference to the people of our local community.
