An old song came to mind.. It's time to rise up and pray even more for our land where we live and for all the promises for different natiions to be fulfilled before the return of Jesus and the good news released to every tribe and nation.

To pray for the peace of Jerusalem and for Israel as well and the Lord's mercy and promises in the Bible for each of the nations to be fulfilled before Jesus' imminent return...

Not hard to look see how much war there is in the world right now and rumour of war...

Whatever we may think or even say about such things, it is a good time to come together and ask the Lord for mercy on each of us and our nations and for what He wants us to pray on His behalf and what it says in the Bible on praying for our lands and nations and our leaders to have wisdom and make wise decisions in these days and to call on the name of the Lord while He may be found...

For the Most High God is not only our Father but the Most Holy God...

Thank you Lord for this key day today with the UK Election and Independence Day in the US... Yet, in other nations there is war and even Hurricane Beryl to fight and pray about so today we choose to fix our eyes on you and say:

Our Father, who lives in heaven
We want to hallow and honour you
and your name

Your kingdom come and Your will
(first and not man's will first) be done
on the earth as it is in heaven.

So things here look and are able to be as good as things look like they are in heaven
for all peoples, families, nations, children, elderly, singles, married, poor in spirit and in income, for the wealthy and those in jobs, with businesses, in service, in hospitals, schools and jobs and no jobs and all people on the earth today...

And give us our daily bread, in your love and mercy, the provision and all that we need for this day

Forgive me and and each of us where we have not looked to you and included you in our daily lives and in the course of our daily lives with our families and friends and those we work with or go to school with or hang around with or watch on media and as we go about in our areas, communities, societies and nations

Forgive us where we have done things wrong even against ourselves and also sinned against you and against others

And as we ask you for forgiveness through what Jesus did for each of us for now and all time by choosing to go to the cross and become the perfect sacrifice for us and all who will ever live, if we choose to believe this, for you are a Holy God and loving Father who sent your only Son Jesus onto the earth to bring us all more joy and freedom from all the weights that can come when we don't learn and choose to talk and walk with you...

And with your strength and through looking at and seeing and singing and reading in the Bible about all your goodness and mercy and all you are and through revelation, help us to forgive others who hurt us and even politicians this day and nations and All those who have ever hurt us because of the love and mercy you have shown to each of us

Lead us this day away from the things that tempt us to not look to become more like you and don't help us to move closer to you and deliver and protect each of us from all evil this day

For yours alone is the kingdom, yours alone is the power, yours alone is the glory, now and forever more.

So we place our lives, families, nations and all into your hands this day Father God.
So be it, Amen.
