Bright Star Glass

We are pleased with our latest commision which was recently finished and installed at a Victorian property in Exeter. The original windows had been list and had been replaced with a rather unsympathetic textured glass. We designed a simple but traditional design incorporating painted elements to help restore the former grandeur of this beautiful stairwell.

 

We recently completed this window commission which was made to celebrate the clients Sapphire Wedding Anniversary.

Last day of Exeter Craft Festival today, we will be here until 5pm tonight! The sun is shining and the glass is sparkling, come on down!

Well thats day 1 of Exeter Craft Festival over. What a beautiful day it turned out to be!

We are all set up in front of Exeter Cathedral for Exeter Craft Festival! From today until Saturday, theres music, food and of course lots of amazing artisans!

Fresh out the oven! Finishing some last pieces for Exeter Craft Festival which is on from Thursday (7th) to Saturday. Hope to see you there!

This piece is based on historic Apotropaic marks, the most common being the daisy wheel or hexafoil. Often found in historic homes and barns, they were thought to protect from evil spirits. You can see some actual marks at Bradford on Avon Tithe Barn and Fiddleford Manor in Dorset to name but two!

Come sail away! We will be at Beer Mariners Hall this Sunday (17th April) from 10am - 5pm. Lots of fab artists and makers to see and just a stones throw from the beach. Hope to see you there!

We finished this project just in time for Christmas and think it looks just the ticket in its Victorian home!

A kiln full of goodies firing away, hopefully Ill be bringing these beauties along to St Michaels Hall in Topsham on Sunday for a Christmas Craft fair! Hope to see you there, 10am - 5pm!

Ive been trying something a bit new this week now I have my new kiln. This beauty will be coming with us tomorrow for Dartmouth Regattas Craft Market in the Old Market Square.

The sun came out briefly to photograph this Swallow and branch I finished a little while ago. This will be coming with me to the next Saturday market at Topsham on the 24th July.

We are at the beautiful Bicton Park Gardens this weekend for the craft fair. Its such a beautiful day, a great place to catch some rays! Hope to see you there!
