We have spent the last 2 days filming 🎥. Yesterday was spent at Superb Studios in Paignton, getting some B2B and B2C video content and lifestyle photos. Today we have been at The University of Exeter filming for their Knowledge Exchange Awards in October! Lots of new content on the way, from informative videos to the Prof & Doc story!

Prof & Doc hit the road!

This year we are confirmed to be attending 5 UK shows, The Devon County Show, The Alresford Watercress festival, The Royal Bath and West Show, The Dorset County Show and the Pharmacy Show in Birmingham.

There are others that we are looking at attending and will be announced once these are confirmed! Our first show, which is coming up fast, is the Devon County Show at Westpoint Arena in Exeter in May.

Meet our Doc! Dr Kyle Stewart is CEO and Co-founder of Watercress Research Ltd (which owns Prof & Doc). He is an NHS GP and also a NHS England Clinical Entrepreneur Fellow. At Prof & Doc and Watercress Research, we will never make a claim about a product that cannot be scientifically substantiated. As a result we thought we would do a deep dive into our first claim "helps prevent against irritation".

Figure 1, shows that when Prof & Doc's watercress extract was diluted to 10% and co-applied with 5% SLS (a known irritant), there was a reduction in the irritation score! As a result this is why we have added watercress extract in at 10% to both our Watercress Mist and Cream. This effect therefore shows that Prof & Doc's watercress extract helps prevent against skin irritation.

Did you catch Dr Kyle at the NHS Entrepreneur Big Pitch event this week? He was one of the Clinical Entrepreneur speakers who discussed the programme and reflected on Watercress Research and Prof & Doc!

A busy week of events and travelling for the Prof & Doc team. Yesterday Dr Kyle attended the NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme 'Big Pitch' which was held at the Royal Geographical Society in London. The Prof & Doc stand had lots of attention, with visitors being able to try our new show samples!

The team had an excellent day yesterday at the South West Innovation Expo held at Sandy Park in Exeter! Lots of new interest in watercress and Prof & Doc! We are finalising our 2024 show calendar as we speak, so if you are based in and around the South West, keep an eye out on our socials for news about where we will be exhibiting!
