Southwest Coffee Co - AKA and - supplying and showcasing SUNDAY COLLAB] coffee - but what is that…? Why is it SO good? How is it so CONSISTENTLY good…?

Part 2:

The SUNDAY COLLAB] is a medium / full-city roast blend of 90% / 10% coffees. You’ll know Arabica - you’ll see it shouted about in the aisles of the supermarkerts! Arabica grows at above 1000m - in mountainous regions - and is therefore more expensive to farm.. It also carries all the exciting flavours of any coffee. Robusta beans are low level growing and therefore easier to farm. They don’t have as much variety of flavour, but they do carry twice as much caffeine as their Arabica cousins and a degree more oil so a gentle inclusion in an espresso blend helps create a punchy espresso that’s still super smooth and silky in the mouth when drunk straight, but which also carries enough body to work well in the long milky coffees so popular in the

: Light Chocolate, Fresh Almonds, Toasted Hazelnuts, Dried Fruit and Marzipan - classic and to be savoured; this is a collection of tastes that pretty much sums up the perfect coffee - low acidity; nothing too floral - a true coffee lovers coffee - no wonder it tastes so good!

It’s prep day! Who else adores our roast veg?

Need to escape the November weather? We’re now open for coffee and cakes until 4:30! The perfect way to warm up and dry off ☕️

So our boys Ricky and along with their father have now completed 4 of the 5 states on their way to conquering the

They’ve managed to raise an incredible £7400 so far for the wonderful work that do in memory of their lovely Mum

Much like the rest of the country, the team at The Tiny Tasting Room are deeply saddened by the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

As Britain’s longest serving monarch, our Queen remained devoted to her country and its people for 70 years and carries a legacy which will live on forever. She was an inspiration to all and served us with dignity and grace. May she rest in peace.

So this is happening..! As a result of our efforts we have been asked to put together a - and as a result of a refusal to do anything by halves, we have a lovely which is almost ready to roll…. What we need now is a with a driving licence!

We’re calling it a “mini mocha”; a ‘less milk, full dose of hot chocolate flat white’ kind of scenario... great with a Pain au Choc or a Brownie 😋 or anything else for that matter!

There’s a song; “Amazing Grace” - and there’s a person too ☺️ - Grace is one of the most genuinely fantastic people we know; devoting much of her time (and her brownie baking skill) to helping others. Her work with , supporting the is incredible - and the brownies themselves, well, all vegan, all amazing 🤩 - from left to right in this line up we have the triple choc, honeycomb (doesn’t it look great!), raspberry blonde, and the Biscoff brownie .... which is your favourite?

Saturday morning means fresh vegan buns from Jenn (.today) - they sold out fast last week so get in quick! Amazing with a 🤪☺️☕️

We are OPEN through lockdown; both cafes; the tasting room on Topsham Road and the (tiny) tasting room ‘pop-up’ on Martins Lane - if you’re in town please come say hello; the city centre can be a lonely place in lockdown!

**Pizza night tonight** - indicative of my poor social media skills, this was fully booked after a couple of days of a sign up next to the till in the cafe... before I got it online... but we have a cancellation so have one table for two at 8:15 if anyone would like to come along - it’s all pretty casual (of course..) and it’s BYO - only one table left I’m afraid this time around!! 😳
