All is ready for Mass for the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin tonight at 7.30pm, at Tucker’s Hall in Fore Street, following Vespers at St Michael’s at 6.00pm. Tucker’s Hall was formerly the Guild Chapel of the Assumption, and this will probably be the first Mass to be celebrated in this place since the Reformation in the 16th century. This event is occurring by kind permission of the Master and members of the Guild of Tuckers, Weavers and Shearmen. All are welcome!

This morning we were out and about collecting some items for Christmas Hampers for some Care-experienced young people.
Firstly, we have never seen such a full car!! Our van was booked out so we had to make do!
Secondly, a HUGE thank you to the two older people at Sainsbury's who stopped us in the car park and asked about what we were doing. They took such interest, were so supportive and each donated £5.
Sometimes the support for us from the local community is almost tangible.
