It truly is Gods County! Beautiful view of Dartmoor from our freshly painted Cowshed 😍 looking forward to greeting todays arrivals with our usual welcome hamper made up of delicious Devon treats

As they are celebrating a birthday they get an extra special bottle of classic sparkling wine 🥰long with a bottle of lush and lots of goodies from and and just to top it off some of our very own silly cow honey and home made butter. Well it’s a beautiful day here in gods county, and a busy old day here at silly cow central! The head bull is off at work so this silly cow is doing the change over 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣 the cowshed is ready, welcome hamper made up of the usual lovely Devon fresh goodies from Ullacombe Farm Shop and Cafe Mount Boon Milk Co Huxbear Vineyard and Ryder's Homemade Bakery . Of course we add a little jar of our very own silly cow honey and a butter bell of our homemade butter. Popped into to pick up the wave I made in one of their awesome glass glowing classes. I think it’s time to wonder down the garden and have a cup of tea watching our ladies hard at work 🐝🐝🐝

Well what a busy year 2023 has been! It has been our honour and privilege to host our guests. They’ve loved our welcome hampers with the amazing local produce of , and the introduction of our very own Silly Cow Honey 🍯, but we’ve also managed to have a bit of time for other things too - our Crazy Bull running the Exeter half marathon to raise money for Exeter food bank and a wonderful getaway to Rome and Pompeii! Thank you to all those who have helped us have such an amazing year! Wishing you all a healthy, happy and prosperous New Year.

This amazing charity is very close to our hearts, so much so that Jo is a trustee and the treasurer for the Nayamba Trust. The trust does so much for the children! Busy day yesterday getting ready for our new guest, but love going out to visit the lovely ladies and - the spirit of Halloween is in full flow⚰️☠️👻🎃Then I popped up to , the vines looking so Autumnal 🥰. Welcome Hamper finished off with some of our homemade butter and our Silly Cows Honey🐮🍯.

Gorgeous October day here in glorious Devon - they don’t call it Gods county for no reason! Visited our lovely friends at and for some lovely cheese, jam, cream, milk and other goodies. Then back to silly cow central to make our butter and finish off todays welcome hamper with a gorgeous bottle of wine. This is our first welcome hamper to also have a little jar of our very own Silly Cows Honey! Hope our guests like it 🤞🐄🥛🐝🍯🧀

The Cowshed on tour, day 3 and what a day! The Paletine, Forum, Colosseum, Sistine Chapel & Basilica San Pietro! This silly old cow and crazy bull are tired, he rarely drinks but he’s gone large at the end of a truly awesome day! Bravo Roma 🏛️😃🍺🥂

What a busy old day it’s been! Visited Ullacombe Farm for jam, cream and cheese, Mount Boon Milk Co for a litre of their finest milk, popped into Huxbear Vineyard for a couple of bottles of bubbly. Made up todays welcome hamper and did some final finishing touches for todays special guests. Then finally this silly old cow got ready to celebrate her birthday with a lovely meal in Torquay before me and our crazy bull fly off for a couple of days in Rome!!! Truly feeling blessed and loved with all the wonderful birthday messages and presents.

After a long emotional day of driving our eldest calf up to start her life at University, it was amazing to come home to this beautiful hand painted thank you card from last weeks guest! What an awesome painting of the cowshed and even managed to get in our resident pooches “Treacle, Toffee and little Ronnie”. This is just one of the reasons we love doing what we do 🥰🐄🐾🐾🐾

Another bee-zy day the silly cow central!!! New arrivals today so naturally popped to one of our favourite places to buy more gorgeous local produce and goes without saying a couple of bottles of 🥛🐄. Once that was done it was time to inspect the bees, love watching a bee hatching 🥰🐝. And then back to the main barn to just melt watching the little puppies play together! Finally time to sit down any enjoy a glass or two of fine wine 🥂😍🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶

Popped up to to buy some lovely local produce and we bumped into refilling the milk! Can’t beat fresh Devon milk 🥛 🐄.

I thought I ought to take our crazy bull out for some fresh air, so we popped up to for some lovely milk and cheese 🥛🐄🧀. The back to silly cow central to make up our next welcome hamper and do the change over for our next guests. Had a look in our guest book and have been left with more lovely reviews 🥰

It’s raining cats and dogs here at silly cow central - we’ll dogs at least! Puppies are developing amazingly well. It’s also new arrival day in the cowshed and although the sun isn’t shining right now, our new guests will still be met with a warm welcome and a hamper filled with our favourite local goodies supplied by and . Happy Friday lovely people! All happening here at silly cow central! More bees arrived, we are now up to 4 hives - can’t wait for that honey to start flowing 🐝🍯 even little OB is enjoying bee keeping, with her new suit she learnt how to handle bees and helped with hive inspections. The puppies are growing well with lots of love from mummy treacle and Aunty Toffee! This mornings usual nip to for some lovely, cheese, cream and Jam. A couple of bottles of the delicious , bread and scones from the amazing bakery in Bovey Tracey. Welcome hamper all prepared and of course it would be complete without a fine bottle of wine from . Another busy Saturday morning here at Silly Cow central in the sunshine shire! Visited to pick up some cheese, cream and jam, and of course bought some gorgeous - even treated our bull to some strawberry milkshake and some ullacombe goat droppings, well it is Father’s Day weekend! Back to the cowshed and hamper is ready with fresh bread and scones from the bakery at bovey Tracey and topped off with one our our favourite bottles from . Hope you’re all having a lovely weekend.
