Round 2 of the Business Games : Clip 'n Climb

Last night Ryan Cartlidge and Bill Holwill took on the Clip 'n Climb event and managed to complete all the climbs. However, the "Leap of Faith" challenge got the better of them this time and no bonus points were scored. Despite their efforts, they fell short on this one.

Coming 12th out of 16 is a tough result, but we're confident we will come back stronger in round 3!

Today, we say a fond farewell to Keith Richards as he hangs up his hard hat and boots to embrace retirement.

Keith joined us back in 2005 as a Contracts Manager and later took on the role of Health & Safety Director. He'll be greatly missed not only for his vast knowledge and experience but also for his unique 'Peter Gabriel' approach and the unforgettable term 'being Keefed'.

⭐ Our Directors are smashing it! ⭐

We interviewed James Rayner about his incredible trek along the Two Moors Way, a challenging 117-mile route across Devon, which he successfully completed last week. Here's what he had to say about his journey:

"The 117-mile Two Moors Way was a great challenge for me, with more than 20 miles of walking for 5 out of the 6 days and a welcomed 12pm finish on the 6th day. It was a real test of character - I’ve never had to ‘dig deep’ for such a prolonged period of time! The mornings were tough - spending the first couple minutes each day staring at my boots, before begrudgingly pulling the leather over my ever-growing blisters!

I've had this hike on my list for a while now, and it feels great to have finally completed it. I feel privileged to have seen so much of my home county on this Devon coast-to-coast walk, and it’s the icing on the cake to have raised a fantastic amount of money for Hospiscare in the process!"

🏆What's the best thing about working for Progressive? The best thing about working for Progressive is the company culture and the care the company shows towards it's employees. I am proud to have helped set up and be a Mental Health Champion at work, and believe that we are positively impacting our colleagues through our work.

🏝If you were stranded on a desert island, what three items would you have with you? Sun cream for sure, as i catch the sun easily! An all you can eat buffet, and a bottomless bottle of rum.

🎤 What’s your go-to karaoke song? Trust me, you don't want to hear me sing, but if i was pressed it would probably be 'Ci******es and Alcohol' by Oasis.

☕How do you like your tea? I don't really drink tea, i prefer something with more caffeine in. Give me a strong cup of coffee any day of the week.
