‘’Dame Ruth May who is the Chief Nursing officer of the UK had wanted as many staff as possible to take part in park runs across the UK to celebrate international nurses day which was on 12.5.24 and international midwives day which was on 4.5.24.
The chief nurse wanted this as a spotlight for the hard work and dedication of the nursing professions and also as a focus on their own health and well-being, to get involved in the park run.

WWL event was at Haigh Hall, in Wigan on Saturday 11.5.24 and 115 staff signed up to join in the weekly park run event.’’ – Jayne Dawber

On Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th March 2024, Exeter City Football Club held their third annual dedicated weekend.

We were very proud to supply the warm-up t-shirts for both the mens and ladies matches over the weekend.

The Purple team were also excited to attend the mens match against Bolton Wanderers on the Saturday, with Ian and Pete having the extra exciting opportunity to go onto the pitch before the match.

It was a great day and we were very proud to be supporting the important Her Game Too campaign ⚽️

"On Sunday 8th October Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital Charity held its annual Halloween Party fundraiser, which raised an incredible record-breaking £400,000 for the brand-new Children’s Cancer Centre! The event was supported by over 40 volunteers from the charity and other partners, with each volunteer wearing an amazing Halloween themed ‘Oh My GOSH’ t-shirt which was so generously provided by The Purple Company! We are seeking a highly motivated, organised and enthusiastic Customer Service Professional to join our busy admin team. The successful candidate will work alongside our new and existing customers in a wide variety of tasks, by communicating effectively and using our specialist CRM software. The successful candidate will guide our customers through the order process. As part of a small but vibrant team candidates will also be expected to display versatility and flexibility in adapting to fast moving situations and use their skills and strengths to support those around them as necessary.

Organisational skills – You will need to be highly organised in order to deal with multiple enquiries, numerous demands on your time and to operate within a busy office environment. IT Skills – You will need to be familiar with all of the usual office-based platforms (Outlook, Word, Excel). However, central to our business is a specialised CRM system that is used to store data, provide quotes / product information and supports the entire order process. Full training will be given but an ability to adapt to a new system and navigate efficiently is vital.

Communication skills – We communicate with our customers in a wide variety of ways and the successful candidate must be able to demonstrate proficiency and have a pleasant telephone manner and be able to communicate effectively when writing emails.
Personal attributes – The successful candidate will be confident, energetic and enthusiastic. This will reflect pervading atmosphere within both our team and our industry. Versatility, flexibility and a willingness to learn new skills are also very important. Excellent time keeping, work ethic and professionalism are essential as is the ability to excel and thrive as part of a small team.
