I don’t know if I shared this video on here at the time. It is the only time I’ve ever missed a Remi Cachet event. I had just been diagnosed with stage 4c Ovarian Cancer and had started chemotherapy. Everything looked bleak, I was told the cancer was incurable and my treatment would be palliative. In truth I didn’t think I’d ever make it to another Remi Cachet event. I was so proud of my children Jack and Olivia attending on my behalf. They were going through their own emotions. Vicky, owner of Remi Cachet and one of my closest friends has been an unwavering support to not just me, but my family and has always been one of my biggest cheerleaders. Times like these show you who your true friends are. I will be forever grateful for the love, kindness and support she has given. Tomorrow, Alan and I are heading to Newcastle to attend this years Summer Ball. I had treatment yesterday. I’m feeling a bit meh today.. but nothing is stopping me getting on that plane. If you are struggling with a similar diagnosis, there is light at the end of that tunnel. Life will be different. But never give up hope ❤️ PS. I’m not collecting award - I’ve got the Lifetime Achievement Award- there isn’t anything higher than that 😜
