Exeter Foodbank is seeking a part-time Logistics Worker | Exeter Foodbank The Trussell Trust runs the largest network of food banks in the UK, giving emergency food and support to people in crisis. Fourteen million people live below the poverty line and in the last year 2,1 million three-day emergency food supplies were distributed to people in crisis.

It's about far more than food

Yesterday someone stole one of our trolleys.
We don't think that this was someone who was visiting us.

They cost about £200.. so we really would like it back

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to all my loyal customers over the last 25 years. I have taken the huge decision (tinged with a little sadness) to hang up my apron!

I have loved my work and feel honoured to have been a part of so many families lives for their special occasions. I have met some wonderful people over the years from the very loyal local community to our now current King and Queen. I have been in some amazing houses, created kitchens in barns and fields and certainly there has never been a dull moment. So many interesting tales to tell!

A huge thank you must go to my amazing team of helpers including my own very supportive family over the years, without whom my work would not have been possible. I couldn’t have managed without you! So THANK YOU!

Thank you for being such loyal customers and for your friendship over the years. I shall miss you all.

I've added an extra date as my first event sold out in record time!

Friday 9 December for a Festive Feast Lunch and Demo! I'd love to see you.

There will be a welcome coffee and homemade biscuit on arrival followed by a demonstration of numerous dishes, which can all be sampled over a three course lunch with a glass of wine and coffee to complete the meal.

A lovely day out and you’ll receive a recipe book to take home too!

£65 per person, full payment required on booking please.

When we began making up packs for people who are placed in temporary accommodation we did not expect to see such high demand.
