Here we have all the cuttings and extra plants we've brought on but not needed in our own garden. Lots of geraniums, fuchsias and salvia... Donations to be made at the bar pls, and we'd be grateful for the return of the pots in due course for next year's efforts! Thank you

The sun shone and everyone had a wonderful time being wowed with the quality, character and styles of fizz being made in local vineyards and wineries! Some absolute gems! Not all of us were walking straight on the way home... ha ha! We hope you're relaxing and enjoying precious time with friends and family like we are, eating and drinking delicious things, and not being blown away in the wind! Rendezvous is closed this week for our annual holiday to give the team a full break after the crazy Christmas party season so they can enjoy the Christmas to New Year period without thinking about work... and we'll be open again as usual from Tuesday 2nd January at 12noon. And we look forward to seeing you for lunch, dinner or just drinks from then on! Xx

Christmas party season | Our brilliant chefs are plating up starters for a large group... they are doing an amazing job throughout this incredibly busy Christmas season and the feedback on the christmas menu dishes has been fantastic! Well done team... almost on the home straight now! We're open Mon to Sat right up until 23rd Dec for lunch or dinner or just drinks.

We now have a few spaces for a group of 6-10 people on the following popular dates for Christmas parties as other groups confirm their final numbers and a few tables free up:
Fri 1st Dec, Sat 2nd Dec, Fri 8th, Sat 9th, Fri 15th, Fri 22nd, and Sat 23rd Dec
This would be for the Christmas menu which will need to be pre-ordered, and will be either for an early 6pm or late 8.45pm table depending on the limited availability on each eve. Call us ASAP on 01392 270222 to check what we can offer you.
We do of course still have plenty of weekday tables available depending on dare and time, yet the weekends have been fully booked for several weeks while people finalise their plans and confirm numbers to us which then frees up a few tables sometimes!

Wow... 17 years! Happy birthday Rendezvous! I think that's a pretty decent achievement... Still going strong, having hurdled so many obstacles along the way, I'm so proud of all our amazing team past and present who put their heart and soul into Rendezvous every single day... and to all our customers, suppliers, family, and friends for all the wonderful and unwavering support! Is anyone feeling strong and available to give us a hand lifting a piece of heavy equipment into the kitchen today at about 3pm in exchange for a couple of pints? We could just do with an extra hand or two as it's 150kg and quite long and awkward to get down the steps to the kitchen! We would be eternally grateful!

Join our kitchen team! We are recruiting a Chef de Partie or experienced Commis Chef for our kitchen to start at end July/early August. This role would suit an ambitious, creative, and passionate individual who's a great team player, pays attention to detail, and keen to progress their career in a long-established city centre restaurant with an excellent reputation for delicious food, service and exciting wines and a wonderful team of chefs. We make almost everything from scratch using local produce from our fabulous regional suppliers so it's the ideal environment for a budding chef to hone their skills and progress their cheffing career. A prospective candidate must have suitable kitchen experience.
