Launching our latest fundraising challenge ‘HAIR FREE 4 MND’. In this challenge, we will be raising awareness and funds for our Motor Neurone Disease causes, by asking people to brave the shave and join us in going ‘Hair Free 4 MND’ on Thursday 29th February 2024!

This will be a NOMINATION challenge, starting with 3 people close to the cause; the main man and reason for this project Peter Robert, Mind Over MND. founder Jonny Luke & TeamEvo vs MND stalwart Harry Drew

What is HF4MND?
In this challenge, we will be asking people to join us in shaving their head (grade 1 or below) on the last day of February this year- Thursday 29th Feb 2024. This will be a great opportunity to start conversations and spread awareness of MND, as well as hopefully raising valuable funds through donations (and FINES 💰👀 see below for details👇)

How does it work?
If you are nominated, you have 2 options:

Option 1) Pledge to join us in shaving your head on 29th Feb. Then ask anyone you know to sponsor you by making a donation to our central fundraising pot.

Option 2) Opt out & PAY A FINE! Think of it as hair tax. If you want to keep your hair then you, yourself need to make a £10 donation to our fundraising pot.

Whether you join us or opt out, if you are nominated, you must then nominate 3 further people of your own to pass on the challenge. This will continue for the whole month of February, until we get to the big shave day itself!

What if I join?
If you are nominated and choose to accept the challenge, you will receive our utmost respect and gratitude, and should feel pride that you show the Mind Over MND. mindset to stand up in our fight against this horrific disease.
We ask you to shave your head (grade 1 or below) on Thursday 29th Feb, and then send us your pictures/ videos for our ‘Hall of Fame’. You can use the central fundraising link below to ask people you know to sponsor you with donations for the big shave 🪒

If you aren’t nominated by the end of February, but want to join us in this challenge anyway, you are more than welcome to do so, so please let us know 🫶

Keep your eye out for nominations, and if you are nominated, make sure you PASS IT ON!

This year some of the lads in the shop are going to do Movember as well as offer free beard shaves tomorrow and Wednesday towards it, available to book as an add-on on Booksy or Walk-In.

Our aim is to raise awareness for men’s health. Alongside this the shop donates a % of our profits towards a charity “MAN-UP”.

Any donations towards this at all would be greatly appreciated.
