Here at Forest Cycle Hire Limited we are recruiting for summer staff to work in the bike hire centre in the heart of Haldon Forest Park - meeting customers, hiring out bikes, advising on routes, and checking bikes after use. This is a great hands on role in the fresh air described as the ‘best summer job by far’ by previous summer staff so why not get in touch and we’ll get your application started. Vouchers and bikes on NHS to boost active travel The prime minister says GPs in areas with poor health will be encouraged to prescribe cycling.

GOOD NEWS!

We are now able to take Fix Your Bike vouchers under the governments new scheme. In short this enables you to get a voucher for £50 worth of eligible repairs ( 2 vouchers can be claimed per address). TEMPORARY CLOSURE

In light of the Government’s guidelines on social distancing Forestry England have taken the decision to close all of its recreation sites from this evening (Sunday 22nd March 2020). As a result, we are no longer able to open to the public and will be unable to until further notice. As soon as we can reopen we will be issuing a notice in advance.

We apologise to all of those of you who were looking forward to hiring bikes, buying bikes and getting your bikes repaired and serviced. Hopefully, this situation will be short term and Haldon Forest Park as well as ourselves will be back open for business very soon.
