The Michelmores Property Awards held yesterday evening marked 21 years of celebrating property, development and construction projects in the South West.
Taylor Lewis were delighted that the North Taunton Woolaway Project won the award for Residential Project of the Year (36 homes and over). The project marks the first phase of a consultation-led regeneration project and strategy to resolve the structural issues of 212 defective Woolaway homes in Taunton. Well done to everyone involved.

Yesterday was a full morning of football at the Exeter City Football Club Supporters' Corporate Trust 7 aside Tournament.

Taylor Lewis were undefeated through the group stages putting them in the final with Exeter Regional Talent Centre, ending with a nail biting penalty shoot out, which unfortunately for us, saw RTC lift the trophy!

Despite the defeat we were delighted to hear the day raised £1,200
which will be used to support the Trust's next fundraising project. Thanks to the organisers for putting on the event and for the invite!

We are thrilled to have had a in supplying the Penryn Athletic Football Grasshoppers U14s matchday kit for their current season.

Our award winning Building Safety Team are in good company at the Fire Safety Event (FSE) this week, a national event bringing together the entire UK fire and life safety community, professional fire safety installers, maintainers, and consultants.

Supporting our Building Safety division to fulfil and maintain the very highest standards of fire safety management which at Taylor Lewis we continually strive to achieve, and for the service we provide to our clients and residents.

We are delighted to have achieved the renewal of our SafeContractor accreditation. A testament to our commitment to health and safety standards and reflection upon our continued outstanding practices and procedures within the .

We were delighted to visit the Rhondda Bowl and Fruit Warehouse housing developments last week. Newydd, in partnership with Rhondda Cynon Taf Council and contractors Castell Group, are developing 34 much-needed affordable apartments and houses in the heart of Tonyrefail, Rhondda Cynon Taff. These homes, funded in part by the Welsh Government, hope to be completed in 2025.

We are delighted to be working with the Alliance Homes Group and Keepmoat bringing much-needed homes into the village of Cheddar. Steart Farm is a new development of 2, 3 and 4 bedroom homes and is surrounded by beautiful countryside with views of Cheddar Gorge, the Mendips and Wedmore Vale.
These properties are going to make such lovely homes.

The ICWCI is the recognised Body for Construction Inspection. The Institute dates back to 1882, with a strong reputation for quality and professionalism. It has a long established, highly recognised status within the construction industry, and the designations LICWCI, MICWCI and FICWCI are accepted as the benchmark of professional recognition and standing.

Stress can be debilitating and it can cause and/ or aggravate . Since no one is immune to it, its important to arm ourselves with knowledge so that we recognise when rears its ugly head. (Amazingly we don't always notice when its happening to us!).

Stress is a big issue for Britain today. In the UK’s largest ever stress survey, 74% of people said stress has made them feel overwhelmed and unable to cope.

It’s not always obvious if someone is struggling with their mental health.
