This chair has been in my mum's barn for about 5 years waiting for me to get round to it. Maybe about a year ago I moved it to my house. Now it just sits taking up valuable space in my 'work space'. I stripped it back in July!!!! Today I have put new webbing on and have ordered new springs. Now I've posted here, I will have to get on and do it!

Finally it's up!!!! ❤️❤️❤️ How can this print not make you smile!!!! It's called January Skies. Artist is Debbie Lawrence. All her paintings are equally colourful and fabulous. Go and check her out on Instagram. I'm home alone, sat with a coffee, sun streaming in, just looking at it (it only went up yesterday so I'm allowed to sit and stare today). So happy with it. ❤️

So I was thinking about my notebook post, and trying to decide why I love them so much. There are actually lots of reasons but for me my notebook has to make me smile. All of these colours and patterns are from notebooks currently sat on my desk. ❤️❤️❤️

Gosh I haven't been on here for a while! Now we are back on the 'mainland', the upholstery tools are back out, I'd forgotten how much I love it! Also made my first trip to Exeter fabric centre - wow fabric overload!! I could have spent half a day in there!!!
First piece complete.
Beautiful solid wood, cleaned up with new springs and hair, finished with fresh modern fabric.
