All machines know. They wait. I swear...
With game 2 out of 3 for the year out of the way, I'll hopefully be able to post some content soon.

Well this will take forever...
Another costume from our recent photoshoot with
Again, this piece was a concept piece, in order to get used to stretch velvet and silly sleeves, including lace and bead details.
This dress will require a petticoat for future wears.
This dress was a concept piece, to get myself used to working with stretch velvet, and to get better with sleeves.
The beading details on this dress was fun to work out and achieve, and I learnt a lot from making it. Not sure it will ever see action in the feild, but it's good to document none the less.
The Cat and I have very different ideas of how to "work" on a costume...
Another commission piece: a Captain of the Lanceguard, Sir Bailian.
This surcoat was a real challenge as not only did I have to learn how to Soutache, the final construction notes for the garment was "Single layer, no lining" as it was wanted to be kept as "lightweight" as possible, for wear in hot, summer events.
Other features include silver detail button, lace up sides, and hook and bar closures. Another personal, favourite piece.
A few years down the line, and late, but some new photos of still one of my favourite commission pieces to date...Lady Maria Gravesend.
This costume at the time taught me a thousand lessons, and seeing it again has taught me a hundred more. It was wonderful to see her in the sunshine once more.
Long live the Queen ๐
It's the start of the "in the feild" larp season this weekend, and honestly, it couldn't come at a better time. Having been rather unwell this past month, I'm hoping the weather holds out as we return to Algundy.
What ever your weekend plans, I hope they are excellent ๐ค

As it's been a while since I did any leather work, here is the first half of my new dress belt...
The Duke of Amber
Newest commission out of the gates this year, and starting strong and a little bit different, with some, Giovanni: The Last Supper, VtM.
Based off of a 1595-1610 Florence fencing doublet, this doublet is constructed from Italian "Dark Wine" wool, thin padding on the upper chest/back/shoulders with Black pipping details.
You're going to be So pretty ๐๐๐
A project that was Intended as a 3 day quick built turned into a 2 month labour of love. I'm still waiting on photos of the full garment, but here's the embroidery from the chest in the meantime.
Summer Coat!
All done, in the feild.
Single layer, no lining, soutache with pewter buttons, lace up sides.
An incredibly technical build, for a simple tailored garment

Ready for its New home!
With a week before Blood Red Roses Summer event, I have about 9 projects on the go at once, including commissions.
For now, it's painting in the garden as prep for some banners.
Oldie but a Goldie.
GOT inspired Cloak for Larp.
I love this garment. The movement, the cut , the colour. It is unbelievably warm, made from a heavyweave wool, hand dyed, and lined with cotton. The Mantle is Mongolian Goat hide (ethically sourced) and is detachable. It features a wrap around belt fasten, to hold all that fabric in place. (In total, there's 12 metres of wool.and lining)
The downside? It's heavy. And it's size makes it slightly awkward to use ones arms in any real capacity. I created this garment for a Lord character who had a heavy, security detail with her.

What character/Kind of character do you think would wear something like this?
I still need to Hem the cuff, but the look is pretty much there with this one.
Wonder what colour I should play woth next?
I recently posted this video to my Tiktok page, and forgot to upload it here.
Honestly, the response to this video has been truly and utterly humbling. I'm hoping I can add more content to this platform soon as I never expected this to be so well received!
