Parkhouse Furniture Restoration & Upholstery

Lovely wingback with scrolled arms, had a badly broken leg and needed stripping back, the frame fixing before total reupholstery in Balmoral Concorde.

More fire restoration work for a client. This beautiful piece was so damaged you couldn't see the detailed craftsmanship. Dazzler did an excellent job bringing this back to life.

Well this was a beast of a job but Jim and I got through it. Really nice Chesterfield that had been ruined by several poor upholsterers. There were three covers still on including the original from early 1800's. Both client and us were pleased with the result.

Original / Stripped and Oxalic Acid treatment / Sanded and finished in Osmo/ Upholsteted. Dealing with fire/smoke damage on insurance items, usually it includes water damage from hoses as well. These chairs had staining from rusty studs down the legs. We removed the stains and got the colour back.

Love this fabric from . Jim did a great job of pattern matching and its now a bobby dazzler.

Oak table in fire with water damage from fire hoses. Stripped, used oxalic acid to bleach out dark marks, sanded and refinished. Good as new if not better!

Spent the last month or so working on this art deco bedroom suite. We had to extend the width of the bed and raise it whilst keeping the style and then strip and refinish everything. Took Dazzler and I a while but it turned out well.

Sofa reupholstered in zaragoza velvet... Definitely our go to velvet for an antique piece.

Missed everybody this weekend with my enforced COVID break. Pretty much recovered now so on target to launch the PARKHOUSE Pairs League next Friday 1st April.
Closing date for entries tomorrow, Sunday 27th March, would’ve liked one more team to even things up and make 3 divisions of 7 teams.
I will have all the players, handicap details, contacts, fixtures etc downloaded on to our club website by the end of Monday when I will send a link to the website to all players signed up to the pairs league.
As mentioned previously this competition runs alongside our club sessions, there will still be tables available throughout the session for those not taking part in the league. There could also be opportunities for those not initially registered for a team to help out on the night to cover for players unavailability.

Mahogany handrail done in French Polish, client didn't want it dulled down. Must say i prefer it this way. Great job done by Dazzler.
